JCP credit card return w/no receipt?

Dh bought me some pajamas at JCPenney for Christmas that are not the right size and he didn't save the receipts. I don't want to exchange them because I also got some pj's from my mom. He paid using our JCP credit card. Can they look it up and take it off our credit card like they can at Kohl's and Old Navy?
