Jay-Z and the Freemasons --> http://vigilantcitizen.com/?p=1948
Lady Gaga and Illuminati --> http://vigilantcitizen.com/?p=1676 & http://vigilantcitizen.com/?p=2614

I'm interested to see what some of you think about these, especially the ones that love Lady Gaga's music but don't even understand what she is trying to do with it. There are far more other artist that have these "hidden" messages in their music, but no one seems to notice it. Some of them are Kid Cudi, Tupac, Rick Rubin, ect.

Discuss..Criticize..

What Kid Cudi songs have subliminal messages? Kid Cudi is awesome...

Obviously very brief, but the video for "Day 'n' Night", his hand symbol, and his strong connection to Kayne West makes him far too obvious. I forgot to mention that Kayne West and Rhianna are also two artist who have STRONG messages in their music.

Cliff Notes please, those articles are waaaaay too long for me to read this late at night. I think the whole "subliminal message" thing is stupid. It's music, let me just enjoy the beat for now, thanks.

People look into things too much. I think people that over analyze like that are nutso.

And so what if they are "occult". There isn't anything wrong with it in my book (which is black...).

i only read the first gaga one...
and if you ask me whoever wrote that is reading waaaaay too deeply into all that.

Jay-Z:
- Promotes the Freemason believing that are commonly heavily criticized even though many of our founding fathers were Freemasons.
- His music, album covers, clothingline, ect. all promote it through the people who don't realize what is going on
- He's manipulating other artist into expressing his beliefs (such as Rhianna)

Lady Gaga:
- Is a straight-up Illuminati
- Expressed through the "all-seeing eye" that she commonly uses in photos and such. Unfortunately, the all-seeing eye is used in everyday things that we don't notice, such as AOL and CBS's emblems.
- A picture of her posing in the same position as Bethomat

So we're nutso because we're worried about how artist are expressing some of these beliefs, especially use the youth to do so? And if you believe in the bible and you aren't opposed to these occults, then you really don't realize what they symbolize.

just starting reading the jay-z one and already i'm disturbed by the amount of inferencing:

I’m pretty sure Jay-Z does it on purpose and that he appreciates the attention it gets him.

Is Jay-Z part of the O.T.O. or does he just like that shirt? Don’t know.

English speaking people usually pronounce the french word ”maison” to sound like ”mayzaun”. Jay-Z however says it to sound like “mason” as in “Freemason”
(it's pronounce may-son in french, not may-zawn)

absolutely no proof, someone thinking they are smart by linking all these arbitrary 'symbols'.
perhaps these artist might be using specific symbolic images, like jay-z using the 'all seeing eye' in his clothing line, but honestly i HIGHLY doubt it's because he's a member of the occult. the symbols should just be taken at face value IMHO.
personally, i equate this to people getting tattoos of symbols/quotes that mean absolutely nothing to them just because they look cool.

And hey, if they are powerful members of the occult/illuminati, then job well done, you've thus far gone undetected until the genius who wrote these articles discovered you!
sorry for the sarcasm but i have a hard time believing this.

I know what they symbolize. I'd rather children are exposed to it than hidden away in a room from the world.

And I believe in the bible, mine just isn't Christian. I AM a member of the "occult", so no, I don't think it's that bad. I think that these singers, if they are intentionally doing this (hey, who knows, they may be just like the rest of the country who doesn't realize what half the symbols they wear on their clothing are and just like the design) then power to them. Freedom of expression, religion, and press are all guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution.

English people, not French, prounounce the French word "maison" like "mayzaun" which is odd that Jay-Z pronounces it the way it was intended to by the French. Also, how is it Jay-Z does not realize what he's representing? If you listen to his interviews and such, he's one of the most intelligent artist alive. He knows quite well what he's doing and it's quite obvious. The all-seeing eye, the hints at Freemasons in his music, everything. People are too naive to think that everyone is just the same and that these things don't mean anything.

Well, though I disagree with your choice, you're correct. However, I think America should be more educated in schools on these things. Unfortunately, if a teacher even says Jesus, they're subject to having their teaching license revoked. We're far too protective of our kids and don't teach them what they need to know.

I honestly don't know what I think about the school thing. I think the parents should be the ones to teach their child about religion and not the teachers.

But some school boards take it too far with the absolutely NO religion talking in school.

As for the Jay-Z and Gaga songs. People are looking way to into it. It's music.
I really think they just sat down and found words to rhyme and go with other words. Idk.. thats just me though.

Maybe Jay pronounced it the french way because that's the way it's pronounced? lol
And I didn't say he didn't know what the symbols represent. I'm sure he knows full well what they represent. That doesn't mean he has some ulterior motive in using them. Also, I find that the only one be blatantly uses is the all seeing eye, all the other "symbols" represented in his videos/songs etc are implied. The all seeing eye is on American currency right? Maybe that's why he used it.
Maybe not, and call me naive, but I think I'm smart enough to put 2+2 together, and I think whoever wrote that article has read the Da Vinci Code one too many times.

i call bull. give me ONE case, just ONE where a teacher said the word jesus and got their license revoked.

now, i'll save you time before you rush off to google, you can't. it's never happened.

when i was in high school, many if not all of my teachers TALKED about god, now the difference is that they cannot lead a prayer. a student has to lead prayer, and a teacher cannot openly tell anyone to pray, or pray with anyone during school hours, but after the last bell rings, they can say or do whatever they want.

and frankly, i am glad that teacher's cannot make me pray. having an authority figure tell you to express your religious beliefs or else is a very bad place to be.

wwooww. u guys r getting wwaayyy too into this. i dont care what jay-z or lady gaga r doing, cuz i luv their songs, and guess what? im still listening to them.

(not to start a debate....its just a fact!) I guess its a hatecrime to talk about homosexuality in churches, schools, ect?! I just heard that the other day.....end of story...lol
-------------------------------------------------
But yeah, I feel like all of those artists have the same message, or at least something similar.

See, now I think that's stupid. I'm not anti-homosexuality in ANY way, but if the Church's foundations say that they feel homosexuality if wrong, why can't they say that? If you're a homosexual, why would you be attending a church that feels homosexuality is a sin in the first place? I don't think it's a hate crime in anyway, unless it's Fred Phelps' church. They're just saying that they feel homosexuality is a sin, they're not saying it's the law and they're not saying that everyone must go out and lynch anyone who is homosexual.

Sorry for the OT. That just bothered me.

i agree, and i'm completely in the "let same sex couples get married" group.

i do think the westboro baptist curch is guilty of hate crimes/speech though. :confused3

That's the name, thank you! I forgot so I just put Fred Phelps. I'm the farthest thing from shunning homosexuals and saying they're doomed to Hell, but I do think churches should be able to express their opinion.

i don't think a church should be forced to marry people they disagree with. but i do think that gay people should be allowed to get married outside of a church.

It's definitely not just the music. His clothing is an obvious symbol. The constant use of throwing the pyramid in which the all-seeing eye is placed. Everything.

Maybe Jay pronounced it the french way because that's the way it's pronounced? lol

Look at these lyrics to the song D'Evils by Jay-Z. I don't think it can be any more clear that his message is blatantly obvious.

Chill out... Obviously I didn't mean if a teacher just says "Jesus" they will be fired. Promoting religious beliefs is what will get them fired. However, many teachers in my school have been warned if a student ask them a religious question and they even answer it. And my idea was not to teach or preach one specific religion, but to educate on all types; wether it be the belief in God, the Devil, ect. But let's stay on course with the original topic because I don't want to get what I feel is an interesting topic locked because of religious talk.
