All I can tell you is what Universal said in the Orlando Sentinel about the operation of the ride. They said they would open Jaws seasonally and during peak times. The first part of December is not a peak time but the closer you get to Christmas, the crowds start showing up in droves. No one knows---not even the skippers who work at Jaws. We'll let you know whenever we hear anything at all.

Please, please, please let Jaws be opened the first week in January. I absolutely LOVE that ride. It will be DH first time at WDW and USO/IOA and I kept telling him how cool Jaws was. I know Jan. not peak time but maybe...... just maybe...... the New Years crowd will help us out and the ride wil be open. I planned on going to USO at the end of our trip but if we have a better chance of riding Jaws at the beginning I will totally do a reversal!!! If anyone has any info, please let me know.

I think if you go on the 1st or 2nd it will be open, IMO.

I had no idea thay were doing this (opening Jaws at peak time only).

I'll be there in January too and my kids will be SO disappointed if they don't ride Jaws.

IMHO , Universal SHOULD put the Schedule in the site in advance, so people could plan which days to go in order to ride a so popular ride !
