Jaws replacement

Why do so many people say that everything needs to be replaced? Updated yes but why replaced?

In other words, let's replace the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain,... you get the idea. Disney keeps many of its classics year after year and no one seems to mind.

That aside, I also hope that a Harry Potter expansion is in the works. If it's anywhere as good as the IOA HP world then it's going to be amazing. Has anyone seen JK Rowling around lately?

There are lots of things at Disney that I think should be replaced and there are lots of things I think shouldn't be replaced. I have the same feeling about Universal.

Disney has so much space though, that it is easier just to add attractions and parks. Universal doesn't have that luxury.

You mean classics like Snow White's Scary Adventures, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Keel Boats, Skyway, Horizons, Kitchen Kaberet, World of Motion...

;)

Disney does replace some of it's rides. As others have said Disney also has the luxury of more space. But Jaws is a very old movie and isn't as relevant as something such as HP or Transformers and wouldn't have as large of a fan base. I personally found the Amityville section a waste of space other then the ride. Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain weren't made due to popular movies (HM movie was made after and most people don't actually know about Song of the South) so those are just popular for other reasons. And Pirates of the Carribean has new movies out based on the ride. But over the years Disney has gotten rid of many classics in place of new ones. Personally I would not be heartbroken if they did away with A Small World lol.

Ooh, don't get me started! Horizons....

I just believe that Jaws is a classic too so maybe I see it differently. I do agree that space is an issue though.

I'm no major Potter fan but the Potter rumors are too amazing that at this point if that's not what going in the Jaws site I would be dissapointed. One thing for sure they need to make an announcement soon as I was walking through Amity before the Mardi Gras parade this Saturday and just walking through there was ridiculously depressing,it was all dark, only walls to both sides and you could still see some of the old buildings in Amity,at least when the announcement is made there will be an excitement of the new attraction, now it's just a walled off area you used to enjoy completely in the dark.

WHAT!!!????? So Jaws is no longer there at all!?? I think I might just cry :'( It's one of my favourite rides!!!! I HATE HARRY POTTER!!!! >:(
