Nothing has been officially announced yet and I don't expect an official announcement anytime soon. Lots of rumors though.Does anyone know what is going to be put in the place of Jaws? Thanks![]()

From what I have heard JAWS is being demolished to make way for yet another Harry Potter themed land. This land being London and the train station that takes Potter and his friends to Hogwarts.
Or so I heard anyway.

Or so I heard anyway. Personally, I think it is a horrible thing to see yet another classic go down! As I said in one of my other posts, why they felt the need to kill JAWS and not rides like Twister and Disaster both of which I find to be dated and boring I'll never know!
REST IN PEACE JAWS! We'll miss ya!!!

That's what most people's money is on. I am a holdout, however, and can't quite bring myself to believe it with the logistical issues it would introduce. We'll see.
Another Web site is reporting survey markers backstage. They begin at Jaws... and end at Sindbad.
Might make sense to bring in Transformers the ride. Like the one they built in Hollywood. The buidling for that ride is HUGE.

Transformers and Spiderman are too similar to have one in each park.Might make sense to bring in Transformers the ride. Like the one they built in Hollywood. The buidling for that ride is HUGE.
That can't possibly be true, because there are no other websites.![]()
They are also talking about a new entrance for Dragon Challenge and the current entrance being used as the new entrance to the "train".
I don't think that Universal is going to be in the Hogwarts Express to link US and IOA. That would mean that they would have to put turnstiles and ticket scanners at both ends of the track. They aren't going to drop their park to park option just to put in a train ride. I can see them putting in something Transformers though....It was a big, big film series. It might be a good counter to Disney's Avatar area...
You obviously haven't seen attendance numbers.Islands of Adventure attendance went up over 30% in 2010 after Potter went in,while Universal only rose 6%.What does that mean? many people are going only to IOA to see Potter,if you all of a sudden add it to the Universal park what will that do to attendance there and will make many more people buy multi day passes. If they have to put turnstiles at both ends of the track guess what, they will if they have to.
You're right, I don't pay attention to attendance numbers. I just don't see it being feasibly to put it in. There are too many obstacles to dodge plus a high school about a half mile away.
