Another Wish Trip update!!!



I am so excited!

I also love Animal Kingdom. It is actually my favorite park! Your poor kids on Everest! It scared ME too!! And I knew it was going backwards.

And the bird...scared ya, huh! Needed the potty. Priceless.

I love the DTD pictures.

Christmas at GKTW...was it just wonderful? Did your kids get to pick out gifts?

Miss Merry staying goodnight is so sweet! We totally missed out on that since we didn't get to stay at GKTW. How cool is that for her to tuck you guys in!!!

Jason loved it I think Christian is scarred for life but he did recover fast enough and never cried so that was a plus

Those birds are BOLD at Disney! I saw one take a hamburger bun right off someones hamburger at Epcot. Totally freaked me (and them!) out!

It was a wonderful way to end our trip
smart mommy and daddy had not told the kids what tickets we had. We had been watching the weather reports all week and knew that Friday was going to be beautiful so we decide to hit the beach instead of going to universal

We got to hang with

after breakfast we spent the morning playing at GKTW
please please please take the time to do this fellow wish trippers it was so much fun

after a fun game of mini golf
we finally got to do Jason's star and make our pillows

then we made our first trip into the ice cream shop
since our kids react so bad to sugar we decided to wait till they could eat then run it off

off to the beach
the kids couldn't wait they wanted to see the ocean
this is my FAVORITE picture of the whole trip I only wish Dh was in it

Grandma had to hold Hayden's hand he was a little nervous in the water

I love this picture because it proves that dr's are not always right. We were told Avy would never walk and they were right she is not walking she is RUNNING in the ocean. She did get a sprained ankle but that normal for her so it didn't slow her down any

the kids were upset when we had to leave because they knew it was time to go home tomorrow
we got everything packed that we could in the evening so we just had to get the kids up and put everything in van

saturday morning
After our last meal we loaded up the troops and hit Walmart to get t-shirts and gifts
then off to the airport

Hayden fell asleep during tack off with his new pillow

on the way home we were much smarter and took Ella's car seat on the plane with us it was a much better flight

once we landed and got loaded into the smaller limo we got some really bummer news
I snapped this shot not really knowing what the news was
grandpa was on the phone with Auntie Bobbie her plane landed a few minutes after ours
she got a beep when she was talking to her dad and said it was the Navy calling
then she called us back about 30 min later with the news

She got activated and has to go to Afghanistan
she leaves May 1 for training

when got back to the hotel where our van was we found out they had had a MAJOR storm and they had pushed all the snow up to our van so we had to dig our way out to get in then rebuckle all the carseats.
we had to hit Target on the way home to get meds Jason ran out that morning of one of them (mom can't count) but never missed a dose
Grandma and grandpa ran to pick up their dog and got back here just as the Pizza guy did

it was a wonderful trip
thank you again to all the Big Give people it made our trip so much more fun
I will post more pictures once I get my photopass pictures

What a wonderful story! I love the picture on the beach and I am sure that was an enjoyable relaxing day. What beach did you go to?

I have found that taking the carseat on the plane is the best! It is a pain to lug so worth it in the end!

coco beach and it was wonderful we loved watching all the big cruise ships coming in

Aunt Bobbie is being deployed?!?! My goodness! I did not even realize she was active military? (Of course, you told me this yesterday...but this would have been my reaction if you had not already told me...I kept it for the effect. )

she is not active
she is in the reserves she only had 9ms left till she could retire
plus my BIL has to go back out soon he is in subs so we are not ALLOWED to know where he is going till he comes up and calls us from somewhere
I will be so glad when they both retire

I still blame you for you know what

As an aside, my DH's friend had 6 months left on the reserves too and go re-activated. He leaves tomorrow for Afghanistan I'll be praying for Aunt Bobbie.

My experience has been that doctors are always wrong! They told me my son would never talk, and that's all he ever does now! Kudos to her for running on the beach!

Thanks for all the great info! Your one brave lady, I'm not sure I would've survived taking 5 kids to Disney. That's incredible and amazing!

Miss Merry looks wonderful and I hope my kids like her. We have pet rabbit and maybe they won't be too scared!

I loved the trip report. The double pearls were amazing. I understand the not being able to hit her head part as I had a brother that wore double hearing aids and he couldn't play sports. The doctors said if he hit his head it might result in total hearing loss. Doctors are often wrong. My son is living proof of that too! I can not believe you made it through all of the parks with all of the kids! That is an amazing feat! Thank you so much for sharing your trip!

I just found your trip report this evening. Don't know how I missed it!!

Sounds like it was wonderful. LOVED the pearl story. Never even knew that was at Seaworld. What a precious, precious gift that would make for a future wife. Loved your ocean pictures too. I really wish we would have gotten there.

So glad we were able to meet at GKTW, even if it was brief. You have such a precious family.
