The limo driver couldn't tell by the passenger list that you'd have STUFF?!?

grandma finally brought me her camera so I could download her 1500 pictures
I gave up bringing my camera after the first day

grandpa bring in the kids backpacks

I left Christian's out so I didn't have to mess with his face

sleeping Ella on the plane I wish we would have brought her car seat on the flight down we didn't make that mistake on the way home
I think she would have slept a lot longer if we had it

We got loaded and off to GKTW
it was so cool to pull in and give our name to the gate keeper
I am so glad we all went together instead of splitting up like we were going to (grandparents at their hotel and Bobbie at hers)
We got the best news when we checked in
they said they had more then enough room for all of us so they were giving us 2 villa's
it took us a while to figure out they meant Bobbie could stay too and they were going to "comp" all her food so she got to stay with us the whole time and eat for free
we all wanted to cry it was so overwhelming
they did say she would need to buy her own park tickets but that was already covered thanks to her being the Navy she got free tickets to Disney world and Sea World (we decided not to go to Universal 1/2 way though the week so she didn't have to pay for that ticket either)

NOW the BAD part!!!!!!!!!!!!


Bobbie called the Hotel to cancel her room and they said no problem have a great time they were wonderful.
BUT when she called EXPEDIA and they REFUSED to refund her money
they said even though the hotel was not going to charge them they were not going to refund her money
so she got charged the whole rate even though she didn't stay at her hotel
so she missed the family shot because she was on the phone we ended up getting a new one the last day we were there
here it is without Auntie

we got one of the brand new villa's that had only been open 3 weeks, right across the street from the playground

After the kids checked out every corner and we got changed into cooler clothes we when to eat at Katies kitchen (it was wonderful)
and spent the day playing at the playground and riding the carousal

We when to bed early and off to Magic Kingdom the next day

I am so amazed that they let you guys in the cockpit!!!! I thought they would not do that anymore after 9/11? I guess they make exceptions for Wish Kids. Totally awesome!

I love, love, love that playground!!!!!!

I don't know if I will ever be able to look at it, play on it, etc without crying. I just love it. I can't wait to take Lauren and let her get on the top of it! She has never been on the top of a jungle gym or anything like that. I just can't wait!!!!!!!

it was so much fun watching a little girl (she was 3 and in a power chair) flying up the ramp that Ella was running on

we (dh, Jason, Grandma, Grandpa and I) helped built a universal playground in our town this summer
here are some pictures of us building
in the white packages were 3000 tiles that we had to lay and glue them all down. Dh was main tiler and gluer so he lived down there for 3 weeks

I took Hayden one day to "help" and asked if he wanted to go on it and he looked at me like I had 3 heads and said "who me"
that was when it hit me he had never been on a playground before because it was to hard for him
he had so much fun that day going up and down the ramps

here is Jason he was a great helper he was main picker upper and runner for stuff

I need to get better pictures this summer

I LOVE the picture of you guys at the airport! You've got me grinning from ear to ear. That must be the best shot of a family on vacation EVER!

So glad the pixie dust was out in force for you @ GKTW. Can internet companies have bad karma?? I can't believe (!) that expedia wouldn't refund the $$$. Guess that's why you pay with a credit card and let them duke it out.

Holy smokes - your mom took 1500 photos?! Could we borrow her for our trip?

Your photos are incredible and I can't wait to hear about more of your experiences!

That little girl in the powerchair is SO cute! I almost took a picture of her...because she reminds me of the pictures I have seen of Lauren as a little girl (she got her first powerchair when she was 3, too!)...so stinking cute!

I love that playground.

It's been slow this afternoon at work, so when I don't have anything to do, I've been sneaking over to that thread and reading

Maroo's report about Lauren's trip was the first MAW trip I read and I've been hooked ever since!!

You should go over and read Julianna's trip report! She's 2 1/2 and altho not a WISH trip, what a fighter this one is - she had a Wilms(kidney) tumor - the dad is writing - I'm hooked!

sorry I have been gone
we got a new baby for a week and I had to snuggle while he was here

Monday started out with our first real taste of what it is like to take a 2yr old to Disney World
lets just say she loved the playground but hated the rest of the trip

We got up early and went to meet Mickey and Minnie
that is were the fun began Ella hated them
Hayden was scared too, but did get over it fast then he loved everyone after that

When we were done we got to go meet Maroo
she has a better picture of us so she will need post for me please
she gave us our big give bracelets sorry we didn't get shots but we all love them and wear them all the time
Avy was so excited to get hers, she got mad at me when I made her take off
We all when to eat at the Ginger bread house and ran into Mac and his family there
Maroo was so sweet to stay with my kids so DH and I could get food together for the troops

then off to Disney world
the kids loved the boat ride over and the birds chasing us
our first ride was small world
Ella loved it

then Ella and I hung out while the big kids went on the big rides
this is my favorite shot

the buzz light yr ride was everyones favorite the kids rode it 2 times

Off to Avy's one place she wanted to go

she was so excited
we got to see the princesses first and Hayden was not to happy about this

The Fairies were so wild I was not happy if they would have woken up the crabby 2yr old we would have been in trouble
the fairies keep calling Ella a woodlin (sp) fairy it was kind of cute and hanging on the stroller. They never did wake her up (mom was smart and took out her hearing aids )

We went home early since we didn't bring warm enough clothes with and the kids were getting cold and crabby so everyone was ready to leave
We got back to GKTW changed into long pants and went to eat supper. Then played a little bit at the playground and off to bed
Where or where will we go tomorrow
the kids had no idea
Poor Christian thought we had to go home and back to school

they were so wild
Tink was picking fights with the other fairies it was funny but wild
how Ella slept, I will never know (she must need her aid in more then we know)
she was out for 2 hours and even missed lunch
