Jasmine Costume....

My dd3 wants to be Jasmine in the worst way. I am really opposed to the two piece costumes which show off their navel and she won't be able to wear it for halloween at her school either (they don't allow certain costumes). I have seen photos of girls wearing a one piece type costume, does anyone know where i Might be able to find it?

My daughter wore the Jasmine costume when she was 4. For school we put a shirt under the costume so it wouldn't show anything. Plus Gillian doesn't like anything material that's itchy so it helped with that to.

I have seen a purple one piece Jasmine dress. The only place I have seen it is Ebay. I don't know if that helps.

I was a genie for halloween one year and mom didn't want my arms or middrift to be exposed because it was cold in Oct. in NY. She went to a dance studio and bought me a flesh colored leotard and tights to wear underneath. It worked perfectly and kept the seams on the costume from itching.

Emma wore the one that disneyshopping.com has on sale for $20 or so last year for halloween. The top covered her belly and was fine.

We had the same problem. Then we decided to look for a basic Arabian Princess or Genie costume and found something more modest. My wife then Jazzed it up with some trimming from the fabric dept. at Wal-Mart. The Headpiece was very plain and she worked wonders with just a few stiches and some hot glue. She also got some fake gems and little jingly coins from a craft store and Little girl was the happiest Jasmine on Halloween.
