I would like to buy my daughter a Jasmine costume..do they sell them at Disney? Are they nice?

If anyone has any pictures (from Disney, BBB or somewhere else), please post them! I'd love to get her the best looking costume I can find!

DD got a Jasmine costume at Tinkerbell's Treasures on our last trip in '04. The style is different from that shown in the picture on the last post. It's much nicer. It's a sparkly, sequined fabric. The top has gold coins hanging down across the bottom of the shirt at the front. All of the princess costumes available at WDW are nicer & different from any I've ever seen at the Disney Store or in other catalogs.

I would post a picture, but I don't know how. Even though I have over 300 posts, the posting rules say I may not post attachments. Is a picture considered an attachment?

Jasmine is my DD's favorite! We bought her the costume in NYC. It's the one with the coins dangling off of it. I'd post a pic if I could, but they're not on my computer. You could call the NYC store and ship it. I think it was $60 for the costume. We also bought the shoes with it. She wears it every day...no kidding!

Does anyone know how much costumes are at WDW (for children) and what size they go up to, my DD8 and DNeice would love one....Thanks

Here is a picture of my daughter wearing her Jasmine costume at the MNSSHP in Sept '05. We got everything at the Disney store except the crown and the wig. The crown we got at Magic Kingdom in a store near POC. The wig I bought on e-bay. She LOVED it!

Edited to add: I was happy that this particular costume covered the mid-driff area. I know that the "real" Jasmine's does not, but I just was not comfortable with my 8 yr old daughter trapsing around the MK with her belly button showing. I thought this costume was very cute but still modest.

We just got back last week and purchased one in DD. It was a very nice outfit. It looks like the one the real jasmine wears, with coins that dangle from her top. They also had them at tinkerbelles at the magic kingdom.

My husband couldnt believe what the costumes cost, jasmine was around 60, but last year we bought Ariel's wedding dress and she still plays with it. Everytime a friend comes over that is the # 1 thing to do is play dress up with our costumes. She knows it costs alot (she's only7) and that is the one thing she asks for as a souvenier from our trips. To me its worth it if they play with it. I figure they are using their imagination and thats gotta be better than sitting in front of the tv. Just my thoughts.

My DD wore her jasmine costume that came from disneyland so it was the same costume that jasmine character wears but i got it from ebay for alot less..She loves that costume and will wear it again in Aug..It really is a beautiful costume with the coins on it and all..

Here's a pic (I hope) of my daughter in the one we got her in WDW. I hope you can see the pic well enough to see it. Hope this helps you.

Jasmine costumes are available at the shop near Aladdin's Magic Carpet in the MK. The only problem is that they don't come in adult sizes. ;)
