Jasmine costume help??

I am truly losing my mind over this one. My youngest dd wants to once again be Jasmine for Halloween. Last year's costume was a childs 7/10, & it barely fit. So I know I need to find a larger one....I have looked EVERYWHERE! Do they think all princesses are 4 years old???? Does anyone know anywhere I can get a size 12/14 Jasmine costume???? I'm starting to think I need to buy the adult costume & just have it altered in some way....help! I want to surprise her with her new costume at MNSSHP on 10/2!

how much are you willing to spend? We did Aladdin for a musical last year and the girl that played Jasmine bought a beautiful outfit from a local belly dancer. it was exactly like jasmines but in real silk. It cost about $80 but it was amazing...

Have same situation. Need a princess size 12/14 costume for MNSSHP 10/2 for the DD. Still looking. Wish I could sew.

www.costumecraze.com has all kinds of costumes, but the Jasmine one was out of stock. Of coarse, DisneyDirect should have theirs in early enough for you to order. I heard in another post that Disney Stores were getting costumes in, there was a discussion about a cinderella costume. Maybe they'd have jasmine? If all else fails, try ebay. My mom can sew (very well at that) but she refuses to do costumes. She'll alter them, but no more! I'm still trying to get her to do one for DD8 and DD5. I lack her talent for sewing.

Call WDW they can help you kno what is at WDW. You could buy the costume while at Disney.

Call the bibbidi bobbidi boutique at WDW. I just came back...they have all sorts of costumes and I know for sure they have Jasmine...I am just not so sure about the size. It would be worth the call. Good luck!

Thanks! I will call BBB today & see. Heck $80 seems cheap to me! At this point since she loves it so much & uses it often, I'd pay up to $100 for one! I'll let you know what I find out

I work at TDS and the larger sizes fly out of the store the minute they come in. When I was there Sunday we were getting our costumes out on the floor, but I don't know how big they went up too?

You could call your TDS and see.

BUT you could get a pattern at the fabric store and have one made. That way you know it would fit her.

Please let us know what you find out after you call. My DD also loves Jasmine. And I have been waiting for the disney store to come out with their costumes. However my friend went to the Disney store last week and they told her they were not going to be getting much Jasmine stuff this year??

I too am joinign this thread. My dd3 loves Jasmine and must have a costume for our October visit. I am hoping for updates on this post for all sizes, not just the larger size. Anyone else hear that from TDS about not much Jasmine?

I went to TDS and was told pretty much the same thing. All they had so far is Aurora, Cindy, and Belle costumes. Not sure about Disney Shopping Online though I read on a different thread that they should be adding more costumes soon.

Well, I went to the Disney store today....talked with the manager. She said they do expect to have Jasmine this year up to a size L, which is a 10/12. I'm not sure for me if it will fir my dd. That top is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO little. so I'm going to call WDW and see what they can tell me.

I am not sure if this will help any of you but three days ago we were at our local mall which has a gymboree. They had an adorable, light and breathable costume on the clearance rack that was obviously modeled after Disney's Jasmine. They only had two sizes but they were marked down to 19.99 and there were also matching shoes that were perfect. The toes had point that wrapped upward and back with jeweled decorations. I believe these were 4.99 per pair. It would be perfect for the warm weather in the Disney parks. I checked the Gymboree website but did not see them online. If you have a Gymboree close to you it may be worth calling or checking them out to see if there are any left in your area.

This really does not help the original poster - but there are some Jasmine costumes on Ebay. I finally broke down and bought one today. The seller had a bunch of 4/5 and size 6. They claim to be new from WDW - its one of the cheaper ones I have found from WDW. Dont think I can put the link here - but PM if you are interested and cant find the link on Ebay.

Yes, there are size 10 and size 12 jasmine costumes on ebay. When you go on to the site, just type in jasmine costume in the search bar. The really nice ones go for about $60, but some start as low as $1.99 (I don't know how high the bidding will go). I just bought a Snow White costume and can't wait to see it. It was listed on other sites as $50-60, and I got it for $35. Hope this helps!
