I have NO idea what to count my lunch as. I tried Japanese food for the first time. I got the chicken teryiaki (sp). It came with about 1 cups of white rice (I know that would be 4 POINTS) it also came with vegetables (which I am pretty sure are steamed) but if not maybe I will count 3 POINTS for them. What about the chicken teryiaki? I had probaly 1 1/2 cups. Any help is appreciated.

BTW: I think Japanese food has become a favorite. I will have to give some other stuff a try. NOT sushi though. :teeth:

Hi there,

In the complete food guide teriyaki is (Chicken, 2 slices (4oz) 6 points). The sauce was 0 points for 1tbsp.

I love Japanese food. You really should try Sushi. It is so tasty, healthy and low in points. My favorites are the Maki Rolls (what most people think of when they hear Sushi). My favorite is the Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll, and the shrimp tempura roll. If raw fish turns you off, try a veggie roll or cooked fish or shell fish. California rolls are good to try first, also the cucumber rolls.

Japanese food is very tasty. I love hibatchi style - like at Teppanyaki at EPCOT.
