I was reading in one of my old Disney Dining Guides (re-read them for pleasure!) and I noticed something I had not noticed or heard of before. I cannot recall the name of it offhand, but it was a bar and small menu items that was inside a Pavilion. It said this pavilion overlooked the lake....

Does any one know of this? I know it's not the Yakitori House.....so what is this place?

It sounds like it was either one of these two places: Matsu No Ma Lounge, or Tempura Kiku.

Those two restaurants were combined and renovated to make Tokyo Dining, which does overlook the water.

We just got back from Disney and ate at Tempura. It was very good a little pricey and the "show" is not as good as we have seen at other japanese steak houses. The food was worth it though.

I'm positive that was describing the Matsu No Ma Lounge at the Japan pavilion. I used to go there to get sushi and the windows did overlook World Showcase Lagoon. The other poster was correct, though. The lounge and Tempura Kiku were gutted out and redesigned into the new restaurant, Tokyo Dining. There are still tables that overlook the lagoon.

And the Teppanyaki restaurant was remodeled into Teppan Edo, now. Same difference, as far as I can tell.
