Have any of you eaten a sit down meal at the Japan Pavillion? I have heard they have something like Benny Hana there. We've been to Epcot lots of times but have never stopped at Japan so we've decided this trip we want to try something new. Good or Bad.

It's called Teppanyaki. My family ate there over spring break. It was very good. It was my DD's birthday dinner. Typical Japanese steak house type food, but they don't set things on fire like other places.

The food is like Benihanna, very good but they do not give a show or anything.....I would eat there anytime!

I love Tempura Kiku! While everyone else is sitting around with an 80 minute wait at the teppanyaki restaurant, you can pretty much walk into Tempura Kiku and have the whole place to yourself. The food is very good (although not that cheap) and the atmosphere is very traditional.

The Table-service restaurant in the Japan Pavillion is called Mitsukoshi Teppenyaki. It is similar to Bennihana in that the chefs do prepare your food in front of you on a grill and the chefs are absolutely amazing! The food is wonderful as well...steak, scallops, shrimp, chicken. It's all good!

There are actually three table service locations in Japan. The (probably) best known is the Mitsukoshi Teppenyaki, which is similar to the Benihana chain. There is also the Tempura Kiku which of, course, is primarily tempurad food. Also there is the Matsunoma Lounge, which has an extensive Sushi menu.

And the chefs are a show and there is some fire at the Teppenyaki.
