Ok, I want to know what the weather is like right now at Disney. We would like to go next January (middle to end) and I am curious what to expect weather wise.

Any disers at Disney right now that can answer?
Thanks!

Cross posting this one for more input!

Thing about WDW in January is that you can have just about anything. We go often in January and have anything from shorts & tee weather to needing winter parkas. Most often I would say jeans & sweatshirt weather.

We leave tomorrow and it is suppose to be 71º and sunny, but Wednesday is 58º. No matter....it is still my favorite time to visit!

We just got back last night. We arrived on Sunday and it was 81. By yesterday it was only in the 50's. The mornings started out COLD (30's) but by afternoon was amazingly pleasant. Dress in layers and you will be fine.

Here is the typical forecast mid January and days thereafter:

January 15: Expect sunny and 75, 58 in the evening

January 16: It should be just like January 15.

January 17: Oops, the forecaster blew the first two and expect the same 55 and occasional showers you had Jan 15 and 16 and possibly 45 at night

January 18: Oh my gosh, we did not know that cold front was actually going to drop down from the north. Sorry you had to ride Kali River Rapids when it was 25 degrees. Chalk it up as a unique experience you will remember for a lifetime.

January 19: So today started at 28 degrees, but it is now 78 in the afternoon and your still wearing your winter coat and gloves in the park. You'll remember next time to always carry with you a change to summer clothes and vice versa.

January 20: No, it is not a hurricane, we really don't have hurricanes in the winter. It is just a Nor'easter that lost its way.

January 21: That is just Disney's fake snow that you see sometimes. We don't have snow in Orlando.

January 22: You weren't expecting 90 degrees in January even though we tell the tourists it happens all the time in Orlando?

January 23: You really should not be afraid to go out in this weather. I know it is weird to see snow and lightning at the same time, but these things tend to disappear rather quickly.

January 24: Yes, all the animals have left town. No, it does not mean we are about to have an earthquake or tsunami although we have been known to get tornados once in a while.

Rest of month: More weather.

Posting from SSR as we speak and the days are around the high 60's to the middle 70's. However in the evening it gets nippy enough to require a jacket.

Looks like this Jan. trip (coming up on the 26th) will be warmer than our Nov. trip. Jan. can be all over the place. This is our 4th Jan. trip and it seems that we start out with a jacket/sweatshirt/hoody or the like and end with that at night. Sometimes it might just be a little chilly and you can suck it up and not even have a jacket. :) It is a great time to go though......low crowds if you avoid the MLK weekend and when the marathon is going on. We love our Jan. trip.
