i worked for disney may-dec...i don't remember the weather in dec at all...our wedding is in january and it's at 10am outside at the bw...should i be worried? i've never been to fl in jan before...what's it like?

Been there 4 times in January. On 3 of our trips, we were in shorts the entire time. ( 1 week each ). BUT in January of 2006, the temps. dropped to like 30 degrees on 2 straight nights. I'll never forget walking around the MK in full winter attire, and scraping the windows on our car that morning. The cold only lasted about 2 or 3 days, but it was real cold there for a while. They cancelled the Spirit of Aloha show, and Blizzard Beach was closed for a couple of days. So, we've spent about 1 month total over all of our trips in January, and maybe 3 days it was cold. It can and does happen, but not often, and not for long.
Best of luck to both of you! January is a great time at WDW!

We've golfed the second week of January for 4 years now and the weather has been "perfect". 70's during the day and 50's at night and best of all, "No Rain"! I think you'll be fine. Good luck!

I have experiences January daytime temperatures between 50 and 90 degrees. Pretty much, if I pack shorts, it will be nearly cold enough for sleet. If I pack the jackets, we can count on drop-dead heat. So, all I can say is Congratulations :bride: and Good Luck on the weather.
