January sale on camera??

I missed sales on canon 70d while deciding to purchase . Anyone know from previous years if stores will put dslr on salle? How about canons website., will they go on sale or should I just put out the cash and buy for Christmas ?

I've seen some pretty nice rebates lately on Canon cameras, and that model was included. I believe for that one the rebate for a bundle was $250. I don't know if we are allowed to mention websites, so I hope I'm not breaking any rules but it was on bh photo dot com I went around and around on a camera for DH for Christmas and decided to hold off...he was looking at the one you were or the Canon 6D which had a $300 rebate by the way! But it was too much to spend and possibly get the wrong camera.

If I'm not mistaken, those rebates are good through the beginning of January so you might still have time to get one and save some money.

I would ask on greentoe. Start low and some times they will give you hints. Like Pricecline for cameras...

I decided to hold off also as to not get the correct on and spend more time researching. I bought the canon 50mm f1.8 lens instead. Decent lens for the price as far as reviews went.I need to research more and see what January brings...
