Hi everyone. January or September, 2015??? We are looking for overall experience, crowds, etc. TIA

We've done Sept for a decade, Jan/Feb for years. My pick is September.

Plus for Sept: Low crowds, MNSSHP, Shorts, No jackets, Free Dining if you're interested, Water parks and longer hours.

I realize Sept is hurricane season but in the last 10 years I can count our "rained hard" days on one hand all years combined and I'm there 10-12 days each trip.

Con for Jan: Teen Tour Groups, Potential cold & Jackets, Lots of closures for rehab, If it rains it's more miserable with cooler temps and again Teen Tour Groups. They ruined our hotel experience the last two years and were very disruptive in parks. My annual winter trip may be done.

I would pick September. Yes it is hot. It just makes you want to take a break in the middle of the day. Pool time::yes:: Crowds are less. Water rides open.

We were just there for 11 days last month. We were glad we brought our heavy winter coats we used them every night. Along with hats and gloves. Only one day for a few hours where we could go around with a tshirt. Weather can be cold one day then in the 80's the next. Have to pack more clothes
Of course if you are a runner the Marathon weekend is in January 8-11.

It not even close for me,one of the hottest wettest months in the peak of hurricane season versus one of the driest, coolest months. Can it get cold in January, maybe, but most likely you'll get a day with highs in the 60's or 70's with lows around 50,at least for me it doesn't get more perfect than that.I do however live in Florida and can't stand the heat and rain,I do like 1-2 trips to Orlando between April and September and probably about 7-9 the rest of the year but I can understand if you're coming from a cold climate and want to do the waterparks or spend some time at the pool,in that case September would be a better option,(even if it rains on you for 3 hours at 1pm,LOL).

Thanks for the advice! Lots to think about!
