Yay! Half-way there. Today was tough since I met a friend at the mall and we ate lunch. BUT, I had a free kids meal coupon for Chick Fil A since my toddler is turning 2 on Saturday and my Starbucks mug that provides free coffee refills in January. So, we had a nice mall play date and I spent nothing! Tomorrow I have to spend at the food store and CVS, but I will try another no-buy day for Thursday.

I did the same thing today! Combined 2 errands into one. My toddler normally loves going to the store. We were only out over an hour but by the time we got to the second store he was just done. I thought he would be happy to be out since we've been stuck inside a lot with the cold.

Yeah, it's tough on the little ones (and their mamas). I have to food shop and go to CVS tomorrow, so I hope she cooperates.

Shoot! The Target toy clearance sucked me in. I was just "going in to look" I told myself. Ha! I know better, but 70% off such nice stuff is so hard to walk away from...

I can't believe how much extra I go to the grocery store! Today my ds9 came home sick from school so I ran in for some Sprite to settle his stomach, ended up with Sprite and two packages of Chips Ahoy because they were on sale BOGO:headache: I spent at the post office, too, but I'm going to stop tracking that unless it's not related to selling, I had to ship an ebay sale today.

Gotta play catch-up, since I didn't post for 2 days...

8: $36 (groceries)

9: $20 (fuel, groceries)

10: $0 (OMG, I had a no-buy day! It helped that I finished walking my laps at the mall before all the stores opened, and didn't go to Best Buy with my oldest son).

11: $0 (DH and I stayed home, today, to tear out all of the carpeting in our living room, so I didn't have an opportunity to spend!)

12: $41 ($36 for Chinese food, $5 for frozen blueberries & Reddi-Whip)

13: $13 (fuel)

14: $0 (I cooked a nice casserole with chicken and veggie leftovers from the night before, saving us a few bucks)

15: $0 (I transferred $15 out of my savings account to my checking, intending to spend it on fuel, but didn't, since my car's tank wasn't completely empty)

16: $7 (fuel)

Typically, Thursday night's are pizza nights in our house, and we usually spend $30... but since we have 2 pizzas in our freezer, and I'm baking some potatoes, we're saving a nice chunk of change today! :woohoo:

:offtopic: I walk at my local mall in the mornings, and was so tempted, today, to stop in Nordstrom's Ebar for a Mexican Hot Chocolate, but it turns out I was unwilling to part with $3.10 for a tiny cup of the stuff. But... maybe I'll treat myself to one at the end of the month.

ALSO: I have to say that since I started walking by myself, I can get to the mall early, walk as quickly as I'd like, and be finished long before the stores open, so I'm not tempted to spend my money. When I walked with a friend, I was wasting fuel going to pick her up (and despite my asking for gas money, she rarely gave me any), and I felt I had to spend to keep up/impress her. That's no friendship!
