We are planning at trip to Disney in January 2017. We normally go between March and December but want to give the off-season time a whirl and take advantage of not having a child in school for a couple more years. I'm looking at the hour calendars and don't see any firework shows listed. Is it normal to not have any fireworks in January or do they announce those at a later date?

they should be announced later. Seems disney is moving more and more in the direction of not including details like these in preliminary calendars.

In past years, illuminations, wishes and fantasmic! have run pretty much every night in january.

Assume all fireworks and Fantasmic! will run every single night.

Care to venture a guess as to what will happen at the end of the month, you know when the football crowds that i wasn't anticipating being there will be increasing the numbers? Do you think they will lengthen hours in any of the parks that weekend (last) and add fireworks & night-time parades that normally don't happen at that time of year?

1. Do you think they will lengthen hours in any of the parks that weekend (last) and
2. add fireworks
3. & night-time parades that normally don't happen at that time of year?

1. Yes.
2. Fireworks and evening spectaculars (Fantasmic! and IllumiNations) run nightly, anyway.
We don't know, but it is highly likely that DAK will offer an "on-water" show (Jungle Book or Rivers of Light) and its other nighttime events, nightly.
3. There is only one night-time parade, MSEP in MK.
It's almost a certainty that MSEP will run every Saturday night.
Other nights... will be a guess at this point.

We did MK on a Tuesday in January and everything was running that night. MSEP happened, and Wishes went off normally as well.
