January Decorations?

If I go somewhere between January 6-15, is there any chance I'll catch any of the Christmas decorations? Or do they get them down right away?

about January 3-13. We have seen park decorations the first couple days we are there, but then one day...poof! They are all down. They are quick in taking them down!
However, when we stayed at POFQ the holiday decorations were up even on the day we left. They must take down the parks first and resorts last.

We checked into BWV on 1/10 and the decorations and trees were all still up in the lobby - tree in the outside courtyard was also up - beautiful !!
However, there were no decorations in the parks at that point and the resort decorations came down by mid-week.

We were there for New Years a couple of years ago and in MGM on the 1st...We walked down the main street at park opening, and all the garland / lights were still strung back and forth between the buildings. When we came back through later in the day, they were already gone!!! I think they left the trees up though, just started taking some of the decorations down in the parks. Our hotel was still decorated when we left on the 3rd.

It was actually pretty interesting because on that trip, I did the Dophins In Depth tour at Epcot and I asked our tour guide about the decorations. She said they get nearly everything put up in ONE NIGHT. She said the giant Christmas trees were several pieces that screw together. She said that hundreds of staff work all night long to get the majority of the decorations up. It all sounded pretty neat and everything was beautiful.

Thanks, everyone! I guess I will keep my fingers crossed for the resorts, but plan on not seeing the decorations at the park. Maybe I'll get there for Christmas in a few years!

For the last two years we were there in Dec/Jan. The decorations were down by 1/6 in the parks and at the WL where we stayed in Jan of 2003.
