January Crowds...Experience!?

I just attempted to book a trip for a week and the guy at Disney told me that the entire resort is booked between Dec. 2 - 9.

We're thinking about waiting a few more weeks and doing in January. How's your experience with the crowds in January!?

Well, we're arriving on Dec 9th, so hopefully all those crowds will be leaving, lol!

We've gone twice in January and really enjoyed the trips. If you go early enough the Xmas decorations and Osbourne lights may still be up, at least for the first week. The crowds are pretty low, except for right on NYE and then they start lessening.

The hotels get a little more booked up for marathon weekend (first weekend of the month) and again closer to MLK holiday, but overall it is our fave time to visit the world!

We ususally go the last week of January thru the first week of Feb. Virtually no crowds. The weather is iffy, of course, but we have always had at least a few swim days, also.

We often go the second half of January. Very low crowds, and often cooler temps for walking around the parks all day (only dis-advantage is it may be a bit cool for swimming).
