I have some ADRs set as of right now but a few of them Im going to have to change. We've been hoping to get into LeCellier but as of yet cannot on the two days we are planning on being at Epcot.
Is it unreasonable to think that I'll be able to pick up ADRs while there? One problem I'm having is that my sister decided to join us at the last minute so my once set reservations of 4 now need to be for 5. We've been able to change only two so far and my CRT isn't going to be changed...she's just going to miss it.
I'm staying at GF so I'm hoping that if I go to the concierege there they'll at least be able to do something with my 1900 park fare reservation...as of right now I'm unable to get anything for 5 people on the night we arrive (we have it for four).
I'm cancelling a chef mickey's and tutto italia (dh looked at the menu and says he's not interested :confused3 ) in the morning.
Anyone have experience in January with ADRs and how easy it may be for us to walk up or change them while there???
We'll be there from Jan 10-17.
Thanks!

The problem is that you are arriving marathon weekend and leaving on MLK weekend, two very busy weekends in Jan. You will have better luck during the week when the crowds thin. We were there last year this exact same week and we had success with walkups; we did Le Cellier on the Thur night before MLK weekend as a walkup. If the concierge cannot help you, I would go right when the restaurants open and talk to the CM at the podium.

I'm not sure I would cancel your existing reservations. You may have success showing up with 5 even though ressie is only for 4. You might have to wait a few minutes longer for a table but it is doable.

Good luck.

Thanks for your response.
We didn't want to go to Tutto Italia anyway so that was ok to cancel. As for Chef Mickey's...I've heard mixed reviews and to be honest I think we'll be out of TS credits by then so it was something I put on our last night as a just in case. Always something I can do next trip :rotfl: My kids should have plenty of opportunities to meet Mickey and the gang (I hope) so I'm not too concerned about not going there.
Crystal Palace is one of the places I'm concerned with as its our ADR on Sunday and only for 4 people.
LeCellier would be for Monday I think so I'll definitely keep trying and walk up to see what can be done...thanks for the suggestion!
I was able to reschedule Park fare today for 820pm. It's our first night, we land in Orlando at 135 and won't have eaten aside from the snacks on the plane so a late dinner will be more enjoyable (not to mention it will be 720 our time and we often eat dinners around 7-730 so my kids will be fine) when I'm sure we'll eat fairly shortly after getting our rental car.
I'll keep checking for LeCellier though and also check with our concierge when we arrive...12 days until we leave...I"m excited :cool1:
