This will be our first cruise EVER and i'm glad it will be DCL. We're 2 best friends; 22 male and 20 female. We can't wait!!!!!:banana:We're friendly, dorky, and easygoing. It's been so stressful with college and everything so this cruise is like the perfect excuse to escape winter (we're from New York). Oh January you can't come soon enough!!:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

I will be a first time visitor into your state in September so it would be soooooo cool if ya can supply me with any suggestions about places to eat, see and what not.:goodvibes

Nothing yet for me but then there's this:

Utah home inspired by Disney movie 'Up' sold
Dec. 2, 2011, 4:54 PM EST
SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Two self-described Disney "fanatics" have purchased a house in Utah modeled after the colorful home featured in the animated movie "Up."

Discovering the house in the Salt Lake City suburb of Herriman, Utah, was a dream come true for Clinton and Lynette Hamblin of Petaluma, Calif. The couple had been looking for a house with some of the same flourishes as the one in the movie, such as a multi-colored exterior or a blue kitchen with retro appliances.

Search: 'Up' videos

They initially looked in California until they saw news reports about the house in Utah that included every possible detail from the movie and was even officially recognized as the "Up" house by Disney. Even more surprising was the $400,000 price tag, which was less than homes they looked at in California.

For them, however, the real attraction to the house was it underscored the overriding theme of the movie.

"We just love the message of the movie — adventure is out there," Lynette Hamblin told The Salt Lake Tribune

NOW that would be a cool house to live in!!popcorn::

The "Up" house is right down the street from me, Love the "Up" House! It would be a very cool house to live in. We would go look around in it at least once a week. (one can dream right?)

I'm a HUGE theatre geek and have seen pretty much every show playing on Broadway right now so if you're into musicals i'd recommend Anything Goes, Wicked, the Lion king (duh), Sister Act, Memphis, and Priscilla. Oh and I went to this cool thai restaurant last night called Qi. Delicious! Their pineapple fried rice is to die for!

Cruise docs for both rooms arrived Saturday - it is really really real now!:dance3:

ok - I am thinking outloud here and this is just an idea......

but -

about that BCS college footabll game on Jan 9th....

I am thinking to table this as a way to break up just a little -

the dinner/show, dinner/show, dinner/show of all things Disney and see if some of you would like to mozey on over to wherever (one of their pubs) the football game is being played and watch it for a while.

ME??

Well.....I will be wearing crimson red that evening.....;)

Just an idea - pm me or email me or shoot - just send a posting on this thread if some of you think this is a fairly good idea.

Again, just an idea - not set in stone.

29 more days....:yay:

Does anyone know if there will still be Christmas decorations up on the Magic for our cruise?

Thanks!

I doubt it - they come down fairly quickly......

We fly in on the 5th and will be at Magic Kingdom on the 6th. Maybe we'll get lucky and see some Christmas decorations! But with it being marathon weekend I was doubting it.

I've been anxiously checking my mailbox everyday for cruise docs, but nothing yet!

How cool would it be to live near the "up" house!!!!

My family and I start our vacation 25 days from today - it's finally coming together and I couldn't be more excited! About 100 times a day I get this surge of excitement like I am five years old again. I'm counting the moments. :dance3:

Me too! Which resort in Disney are you staying at? I'm so excited, I haven't been to Disneyworld in over 11 years...and I'm a first time cruiser! Concentrating on finals seems impossible right now. (still in school)
