January 5, 2013 Fantasy Cruise to the Western Caribbean

Wow.. sounds like a wonderful trip. wish we could join you

Like me you have probably made at least one "Med Cruise" before (I was a YN3 on the USS Independence CV62) but this will be a little different. ;) I am looking forward to it because my wife has never been and it has been a very long time since I was there.

We did the Transatlantic and it is great. :thumbsup2 It is also just a little more than the cost of a 7 day cruise .... except for the cost of airfare home!. :headache: Still well worth it! :woohoo:

I retire in 5 years and 8 months (not that I am counting down or anything) and just wish I could move onto any of the ships (as a guest of course) full time.... oh heaven could only be so sweet. lol

Hi everyone-I haven't been around for a while but still counting down-158 days now!!!

Getting the girls ready for college is a full time job. Just came back from Maine ,now time to focus on the cruise-

That means time for a diet so we can be ready for those buffets!!!!!

Hope everyone is having a great summer!

Funny but we retire in 5 years 7 months from The Salvation Army. :goodvibes My plan is to work for Disney in Florida so I can afford to cruise more often! :boat:

Sorry to report that I have once again postponed our Disney cruise and my wife Sue and I will not be on the January 5th cruise. We have rescheduled for later in 2013, but I don't think I will sign up on any more cruise threads until I'm on the ship and we've pulled away from port.

I hope you all have an excellent time.

"So many nights I just dream of the ocean God, I wish I was sailing again" Thanks Jimmy! :boat: I can not hardly wait to get back onboard a Disney Cruise Ship!

January will not get here soon enough. There will be plenty to keep busy until then. They are offering some great Florida and military rates for Sept cruises but it just won't work out for time. This will be the first year we haven't gone on a cruise since 2009. It took me 10 years to get DH on a cruise and now he is hooked. I have a countdown on my phone. I even set an alarm for my online checkin date.
:rose:

Its Been A While Since I've Been on but i wanted to ask all the parents if there were any teens me and my husbands age group (17-23)??? I had Private messaged a few people but none Have Answered me :( I wanted to post now since we are so Close To the actual Cruise!! :-D

:drive: A lot of travel for us in the next 60 days! :crazy2: The DW is on the road now to NC for a couple of days. Then we are off to Atlanta for a few days and Merrick Island, Florida for a week of meetings. At the end of September we head off to our two week tour of Istanbul, Athens, Rome and other such places.:crowded: After that the travel slows just a little but a lot will be happening at work all the way through Christmas. :moped:

By the time of this cruise we will really need it! :faint:

My current plan is to try and jump start this thread as well as the one on FB. :surfweb:

It would be nice to really know each other well before the cruise even starts.

Time is going by so fast- we started out at 444 days and now we are down to 132!!!! Pretty soon we will be focused on the holidays and before you know it we will be packing.

Hope we have nice, warm weather and please very little snow here.

Hope everyone is having a great summer.

Linda

Having a great summer here in Central Florida. :thumbsup2 I am actually looking forward to Hurricane Issac coming close. :bitelip: The weather has not been too hot or humid but most people who do not live here might say otherwise. :rolleyes2

We are really looking forward to this cruise and the opportunity to have been on all four ships. We still love the Magic the best and plan on our next cruise to be back on her.

Looking forward to hearing more about each of you and maybe meeting some before the cruise if you make a trip to WDW early. :surfweb:

Well my Wifey and I are booked on back to back Western to Eastern caribbean starting with this cruise, we just can not wait to go however we do love the anticipation.
