We had a wonderful time and are already counting the days until we can return. If money was no option, we would LIVE on a Disney cruise ship!!
Another fellow cruiser started a thread on the general DCL board and provided their thoughts...I added ours as well.We had a wonderful time and are already counting the days until we can return. If money was no option, we would LIVE on a Disney cruise ship!!

Just off the Jan. 12-19th Fantasy Eastern...one word...AMAZING!
We are booked with several others from that cruise for the Jan. 4 2014 sailing. Our cabins are 7682 and 7681...veranda for Dave and I, inside cabin for the teenage daughters! Dave and I were in cabin 7686 this last week...I took photos so as soon as I figure out how to, I will post them.
Count us in on the fish extender...based on our experience this last cruise, a group of twenty cabins or less is ideal because of the size of the ship. That kept it fun and not a chore to have two smaller groups.![]()

Maybe rather than spending all the money for concierge you could buy a spa pass and still feel that slightly exclusive "have to pay to be in there" feeling! Lol... I'm seriously contemplating the spa pass, I just have to make sure I would use it daily.... Sounds like a nice routine to me! Saunas and stone lounges.
Yayyyy! We're going too! We were just on the 1/12/13 Fantasy and rebooked on board for the same week next year, but decided to go a week earlier. It's me, DH and DS's (21) and (19 at time of sailing), and my Mom and Dad. This will be our 7th (Whooo hoooo!!!) Disney Cruise! It's so hard leaving that ship, but it sure feels good to know we're going back. We'll bow out of the FE's though. We heard stories of items being stolen - so sad. Plus, I have zero creativity - ha! Let's make this year fly by!!!!

Thank you! Most of our cruises have been in the winter months and we love it! Not as much humidity and the temps were perfect! Low to mid 80's every day except Castaway Cay day - overcast and cool all morning (cool for a Californian - lol). Didn't need a jacket, but the water was freezing to our thin blood! lol We had a cabana on the Adult beach and saw three swimmers in the oceanIt cleared up beautifully by 2:00 and was just perfect after that. We didn't see as many people in the water on the family side as we usually do. We were bummed because all the excursions were cancelled that day due to the winds, which felt like a slight breeze to us high desert Californians!

from the humidity!
Still enjoyed the ship though
