Hey FE buddies - I just emailed you guys the final list, it is pretty much the same as the tentative list I sent earlier in the week, with just a couple of corrections. We do need 1 more cabin number, but I'd say the list is finalized since nobody else has expressed interest.

We leave in 6 days!!! 5 days if you count that we're heading up to Denver on the 31st to do a park-and-fly at an airport hotel! And I'm nowhere near ready :rotfl:

I'm in the same boat as you... :rotfl2: we'll literally be in the same boat next Sunday... sorry, very lame!:p

Today... I'm devoting my entire day and most of tommorrow to cleaning and packing! I refuse to pack the night before and not get much sleep!

We leave the 31st to drive to Savannah, GA! I can't wait... 3 days WDW... 4 night cruise... then back to WDW for 3 more days! I'm going to be sooooo broke!:upsidedow

We can't wait! We leave Friday early AM from Chicago to the Poly for 2 nights, and then the boat. I can't do much to prepare - we haven't told my son yet! I'll have to make my FE on the sly. We'll tell Andrew on New Years Eve, so we'll have 1 day to pack. I had Mickey call on Christmas to do the "I hear you're coming to visit me" call, and we recorded it so we can tell him then.

Today we go pick up our trip documents at the TA - so excited! :cool1:

LOL We really are in the same boat :lmao: 3 days at WDW before, 4 night cruise, but only 2 nights at WDW after for us -- we wanted to be home by Saturday night to give us Sunday to get ready for work and school.

So funny!!! I can't even bring myself to admit the fact that we have to return to school/work the following Monday!! :rotfl:

andrewsmommy, what a great way to bring in the new year!! Sadly... I have no excuse for taking my time on the packing. I do have a pile of clothes neatly folded and set aside that I do want to pack! :rolleyes1

Why am I on the DIS when I should be packing? :lmao: :lmao: It has been so busy this week with all the holiday stuff, and I'm just overwhelmed.

And I STILL have my shopping unfinished! I'm going to Target tomorrow to buy last minute stuff like travel size detergent, bonine, etc. Oh yeah, I also have to fit in a couple of hours of work tomorrow or Tuesday  I am officially on vacation but I have stuff that needs to be done.

Hope everyone else is doing better with getting ready!

Getting ready? Yes, it hit me today that one week from today we will be on the boat!

My house looks like Christmas exploded in it! I don't even know where to start and I have not done any packing for myself or gotten the kids things together for the 4 nights they will be staying with their grandparents! I think I am in denial. Usually I have these things well planned out and organized!

:confused3 Where do I start?

What are everyone's thoughts on what the weather will be like? I went on weather.com for Nassau and the 10 day forcast showed it to be 77/67 for high/low. I am just not sure what to pack but guess I will just plan on layers if it gets chilly. Last Disney cruise was beginning of December so I am thinking weather might be a little cooler.

Not so much worried about the temps there but the snow here in Cleveland. What was I thinking when I booked our air on the same day that we sail? I ask once again that you all keep your fingers crossed that we can fly out of here on time!

Thanks guys.

It's a hard habit to break!;)

Good luck with getting everything straight... If it makes you feel better, I'm working today and tommorrow... :upsidedow

:rotfl: Bless your heart!!

If this helps, I'm packing a short sleeve shirts, a sweatjacket, a few capris, a few shorts, a pair of jeans, a dressy dress, a pair of slacks, a sundress, and a couple of blouses.

pixiedust:pixiedust:Lots of p&p for an on-time flight for ya!pixiedust:pixiedust:

Well, yesterday didn't go as planned -- I had to spend all day in the ER and later the hospital with my Dad. He has a small bowel obstruction, may need surgery - they're trying a non-surgical option first.

Was very close to canceling trip, but my Mom got furious and said "NO - YOU GO ON THAT TRIP - NO MATTER WHAT!!" So I guess we're going. But I may be racking up those nasty cell-phone-from-sea charges!

At least while they were running some tests I got to a dollar store, lots of good Disney stuff for the FEs!!!

Ok, got to get a move on - have to get SOMETHING done before I head to the hospital.

andrewsmommy,

Prayers and a little pixie dust for your Dad.

Can someone remind me of our dining nights. I'm trying to pack lite this trip, yeah sure, so I am actually writing out a plan.

Sunday: Casual dining
Monday: Nassau day, is this Pirate dining?
Tuesday: Castaway Cay day, is this dress dining?
Wednesday: Sea, casual dining?

Thanks.

andrewsmommy, lots of p&pd for your dad from here as well!! pixiedust:

Cheryl, I believe your right!:thumbsup2 I almost forgot about packing stuff for pirate nite. We bought shirts last time we went, I happen to come across pirate themed earrings I bought last time and remembered...:rolleyes1

I found a link to a June navigator for those new to the Wonder... or for anyone else who would like to see!

http://www.wdwinfo.com/Photos/DCL-Navigators/6-29-08-4day.pdf

Well... we are almost packed!! Tonight we will finish packing, finish tidying up the house, and load up our van!! I can't believe we go tommorrow!:dance3:

I didn't notice that!! Oh... that was the double dip cruise at CC. Wouldn't that be great instead of being at sea on Wednesday we could go back to CC? :cloud9:

For some reason, I had been thinking pirate night was the night we were at CC. I could be wrong... it's either Nassau nite or CC nite.

I'll have to see if there are any other navigators.
