January 4, 2009 = 4 Night Wonder*ful Cruise

Hi all!! Anyone else setting sail exactly one year from today?

Let's see if we can make the time go by quicker....

I'm Kelly and traveling with my DH, DS who will be 15 and DD who will be 14! We are very excited about boarding the big old mickey boat again, it'll be our 3rd time aboard the Wonder!!

We were actually booked to go in October, but we can't make it. So I switched it to January 1st (land), then headed on the ship on the 4th.

Our family is older, it's my parents myself (I'll be 25) and my brother (he'll be 21). We are thinking this is our last "family" vacation, so we are going to make it a lot of fun!

We haven't been to Disney in eight years (before then we went every year). But because of High School (for both my brother and myself) we just couldn't find time for all of us to go. So with time off from jobs, and college we are able to go in January. We are all VERY excited, not only to go on the cruise but to see the parks too.

I can't wait to see who else is going to joining us!

Hello! My husband, mom, sister and I will all be taking our first Disney cruise on Jan 4th, 2009! I just signed up for this site, and it is awesome! I have been reading a bit about "fish extenders". Are you guys going to do them?

We haven't used the fish extenders before, but we've been thinking about giving it to our family for Christmas this year!

We are a good size group. I'm breaking it down by cabin.

It will be myself(33), my nieces (17 and 14) and my nephew (7)

My parents(50s and 60s)

Our friends (my parents age)

Their oldest DD(40ish) and husband(40ish) and their DD(7)

Their middle DD(late 30s) her DD(13) and DSs(8 and 6)

Their youngest DD(34 and her husband(mid 30s) and their DD(10) and DS(8)

A friend of their youngest DD(30s) and her DD(4)

Another friend of ours(60s) her DD(33) her DD's husband(35) and their DD(7)

This will be my 3rd DCL cruise. The 2nd for my parents, nieces and nephew. Everyone else will be new to DCL

Wow! less than 6 months? I haven't paid any attention to that. I'm the type that the excitement will hit around Jan 1st.

I looked a few months ago for a thread for this date and was surprised not to find one. I'm shocked there isn't more. But hey I would enjoy the ship with just us few on it.
