What documents will be coming from DCL? I think I have everything filled out on line.
Is anyone doing any shore excursions? With this being our first cruise, we didn't book anything this time around!

We are planning on doing the historic tour and then spending the rest of the day on the boat. Is anyone else planning on touring Nassau?

Hmmm, seems like more than the 17 that there should be. I think I'm going to have to eat some to make the number right!

DW, Laura, aka "Julie your cruise director" for those who remember The Love Boat, contacted DCL about the possiblity of hosting a DIS meet and greet once we are onboard the Wonder.

The plans are not finalalized because we want to gauge interest from the group.

DCL indicates they can put together a gathering on Thursday afternoon before the safety drill and sail away party. This would allow everyone to meet early in the cruise. We'll cover the venue and snacks and everyone can be responsible for their own beverages. We'll make sure that all ages are welcome.

Any interest?

Let us know if you would show up and how many and we will see about finalizing the arrangements.

I'm quite sure Ricky and I would be into it! Great idea thanks for organizing it.

I got my documents on Friday. Very surprised! I've just been so busy lately at work that I haven't even thought about this trip. But I am starting to feel the warm salty breeze, and I really NEED this trip!

Ricky however, just watched the DVD for the 100th time... he is getting even more excited!

Document Dance Document Dance! Our UPS guy showed up here at the office, I expected a lot of packages (yeah yeah, I am waiting on last minute gifts still!!!) but instead, just a plain white mailer with our Documents!!!!

I got our document package at work Friday. It just contained some tickets and some additional forms to fill out for Bahamas' customs. Just one more week and I'll finally be able to talk about the trip at home, outloud, and as much as I want. Please let me know about the get-together. Raymond(DH), Megan(DD), Joseph(DS) and I will do our very best to be there.

We received our documents from UPS today. Gotta love the UPS guy. He and our dog don't get along so it is quite a site to see him drop the package, ring the bell, and then sprint back to his truck.

Got the call from the travel agent Friday morning....I have not seen them yet..Just to busy to pick up, but I will have to tomorrow..the anticipation is getting to big. The meet and greet sounds great, but I will hold off saying yes for now. We are doing that "flyin' by the seat of our pants" thing also. But will make every attempt. SEE YOU SOON...The Killams

This will be our first Disney Cruise! My DH will be 50 12/29 and we will be in WDW for that and NYE...then it's off to visit friends in Daytona who will board with us 1-4 on the Disney Wonder. So it's me, DH, DS 16, DD 13, DD 8. My friend and her husband and their two DSs 11 & 6. I think it would be a hoot if people all over the boat would be saying Happy Birthday to him. Any suggestions as to how I could identify him to you all? Is there a place and time where everyone will meet? I have not gotten any documents yet as I just booked a couple of weeks ago. Do they always come via UPS? Sorry so many questions I usually plan my Dis trips very far in advance I am feeling a little stressed with so little time to prepare. Any tips for me and my crowd would be greatly appreciated.

We figured we would surprise him with the tickets for Christmas. With a birthday December 29th it's always been hard to make it feel special. After 49 birthdays this ought to do it!!!

I will be there with DH, DS 16, DD 13, DD 8. I will also invite our friends and their two DS to come along.

We are counting down the days! Both DH and I are teachers and we get out of school tomorrow (12/22). Needless to say the natives are getting restless - including us!

We are so excited. I have a suit case in the bedroom now that is already collecting items...... Swim shoes, swim suits, docs (which will move to carry-on later).
