Hey! Hope everyone is great....being a newbie I have another question. What exactly is a fish extender used for? I have seen dis'ers in other threads talking about how much fun they are but haven't figured out how they are used.

The fish extenders are like little pouches you hang from your decorative fish that is just outside your door.
It's a way for other DIS'ers to leave you little gifts or notes.

Ohiominnie---where do you get one of those? Your door from the ship looks great. It is so fun to see peoples doors all decorated. Are those dry erase boards on your door too? This is going to be more fun that I anticipated, because on our first Disney cruise I didn't know about the Disboards and didn't think about meeting up with people. I can't wait for this cruise. It is going to be great.

Hope everyone is having a great summer. I've been so busy trying to get things together and research done for my trip to Disney in the Fall that I've not been on the cruise board much. Plus I am having my daughter's 1st birthday party the week before we leave for Disney World. Crazy busy always.

That's awesome. I will have to get us one of those. Your door looks awesome! I have already started on some door decorations, I went to Michael's and hit the scrapbooking isles. I figure I will kill two birds with one stone, the pages that I use on the door can also go into my scrapbook after the cruise

I believe you can get the fish extenders on ebay. Let me email a friend of mine who has one and I'll find out the seller's ID.

Ok, found out that the seller who used to sell these on ebay is Mrs. Lips.

Yes, that's her user name! Just search by seller and if she has any, they'll be listed.

But....also found out that some DISers got creative and are selling them on ebay. Do a product search for "fish extenders" and see what you get.

Ohiominnie---thanks for the info. I can't wait to meet all of you fellow cruisers. I think it is really going to be a great time. Especially because at that time of year it is going to be freezing cold here in places like Michigan and Ohio!!!

Hi everyone, just booked last week using our DVC points and couldn't be more excited.
We've taken many cruises in February, not Disney yet, and the weather is usually perfect. Castaway Keys has the chance to be on the cool side. We've been to Nassau in Febraury a few times and once it was almost light jacket weather and the other time it was 85 and perfect.

Also my parents will be joining us.

We're sailing on cash now, but will look into changing it to points.

We weasled points out of DFIL and DMIL this time! My parents are using points as well! Sounds like a DVC cruise!

Wow! That should be fun! My parents will actually be on a cruise the same week we are just on a different line. We were all going to cruise together but since we are going on vacation next month together we decided we would each enjoy some "peace and quiet" apart (we know if we are all together there won't be any peace and quiet)

Those are stinkin' cute!!

We're heading to FL tomorrow morning. We'll be there just over 48 hours. In that time dh has two interviews and we'll be home shopping. We're very excited to see what happens.
