I figured out how to check the room and we were upgraded to a 9 as well! Whoopie! It looks like there have been lots of upgrades. Congrats to all!

We got our assignment - 6307 - booked an 11c - got an 11b - not a problem - I will be working on this cruise so no biggie - as I will work other places on the ship - we have had pixie dust on other cruises and those were ones I really wanted pixie dust so all is good.

Yes, I am going to look the gift horse in the mouth. We too were upgraded from 11C to 9C, Room #2628. I am probably the only one *NOT* happy with being upgraded. I'd rather be in an inside stateroom on a higher deck. It's aft (which we love), not deck 1, and it will face Castaway Cay when we are docked backed in. HOWEVER, Room 2628 is reviewed as terribly noisy. It's right under Parrot Cay and a loading ramp It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have a 3 1/2 year old to worry about getting woken up......I'd rather be in an inside stateroom on a higher deck

All that is coming up on the DCL site are Cat 6A and up, so I am hoping for FLR rates to get on Deck 5 or up!!! I was hoping for a Cat 7A, but beggers can't be choosers. DH is happy to be in any room just on the ship, but I think if it's noisy that would be a dealbreaker.....If no FLR, I guess we can always try at the port to upgrade....

I would love to swap. We have 5127 and 5129. I am bummed. My parents and I wanted to be separated and specifically requested some distance. Let me know if you are interested.

I'm having a heck of a time with the DCL website. We FINALLY got our cabin assignment. I have to admit I was disappointed when I logged on and saw that it showed Cat 11c Std inside. Then I remembered that it always shows what you booked NOT what you're assigned. We've been upgraded once from a 12 to an 11, once from an 11 to a 9, once from a 12 to a 9, and now once from an 11C to...a 10 on deck 2. It seems like they often put the gty's on deck 2 as that's where we were the last cruise too (only in a 9). I'm so glad to have gotten this pixie dust upgrade. Although we're fine in an 11c, I really, really LOVE the split bath and always hope for at least a 10.

I keep trying to get into the DCL site to find out my in-laws assignment. We're hoping they'll be close to us!

It's been incredibly slow or even down for the last 2.5 hours. UGH! I need to go to bed, but I'm excited to know if my in-laws will be near our cabin so I hate to go to bed before I know.

I totally understand! Its part of what we loved about the first cruise we took, everyone was close, but not too close. Hope you work something out.

Nice to see so many upgrades. I'm sorry to those who are not happy with their assignments. If there is room will they do lateral changes? Hopefully you can make a change or an upgrade.

Time is going to fly in now. I better get going on my FE. I have been picking up stuff for a while but I have to go through it and take a close look at the list for the kids (age, boy or girl).

I have a question about the FE. I was planning on having a FE made for the cruise but recently found out we are expecting, and wanted to wait to have one made including our lastest, and last addition. So does anyone have a suggestion of what I could use since I don't have a pretty FE? If we enjoy the cruise and participating in the FE I will have a proper one made.

How about using a stocking? It is a holiday cruise afterall For the last cruise, I had a FE made from someone on ebay but it has the kids too. I don't want to buy another one so I might me using a stocking or I might make one. I don't know yet myself and will see if you get other replies.
