And our party is now fully passported as of yesterday.

So now we just wait. Patiently.

Coincidentally, I was putting paper in my printer this morning and a map of Castaway Cay was in the stack of paper! Weird.

Are you ready for some Fla. weather? It's a tad chilly here, but probably not as chilly as IN. I just realized that you are from near where my mom grew up and my GP's lived for many years -- North Vernon, IN.

Small world isn't it We are about 50 miles north of North Vernon. And yes, it has been in the 20's the past 2 mornings, I will definitely be ready for some warm Florida weather soon.

Our cruise is finally starting to fill up I think. Just checked the DCL website and the only Cat rooms still available are 8,9,10, &11. Might not be such a quiet cruise afterall.

One of the advantages of residing in the Sunshine State. This is an unusual month for me because we are going the weekend before Christmas, too.

The cruise is still going to be the BEST part. It will be here before you know it!

Our cruise is finally starting to fill up I think. Just checked the DCL website and the only Cat rooms still available are 8,9,10, &11. Might not be such a quiet cruise afterall.

Oh I would give anything for a little upgrade! We are in cat 11 (sailing on DVC points and did not want to use too many) and I would just love to have a porthole. I doubt that it will happen since we are in 2 rooms. Maybe I should call and say that it would be OK to upgrade me and the children and leave poor old DH in cat 11!!

Wow, just checked the DCL website, the only Cat still available is #9. Looks like we may have a full ship afterall. For those of you who haved cruised before, does the ship seem crowded when it is fully booked?

I dont mind sharing...we are on deck 6 but I need to dig out my file to get the cabin numbers and get back to you. we are in a strange position in that you go all the way down the hall and then turn down another even more interior hallway. Since it is only a 3 night, I can handle the cat 11 again but I dont think that I would do it for a longer cruise. it was so weird to wake up and not know if it was daylight or not!

We have only cruised one other time on DCL and it was a complete sell out last march. The ship was full but it did not feel over crowded the way that WDW feels when it is at capacity. I would love a smaller crowd but it looks like this cruise has come close to filling up.

Out of curiosity I just checked the updated availability (Simzac checked for us earlier tonight) and there is no availiablity for Jan. 3rd! The cat 9's are no longer showing up. I guess with so many schools returning to class later than usual, it is a good time for families to get in a quick vacation or add on to their WDW vacation. Sure hope that it will be warm enough to swim!!

Our trip has recently expanded. We are now going down on Dec. 30th to the Gaylord Palms then over to WDW for 3 nights. Then the cruise banana: ) and then back to WDW for a short stay at the Contemporary. i was able to secure a "last minute" tower theme park view room so we figured that would be a great way to end the trip. Yea!!!!

Anything to extend your vacation is worth it Global Mom. Thanks for the update on availability, strange that just last week there were still 5 different catagories still available, now none, that was fast. We are also starting our trip on the 30th at HHI. See you soon.
