Got a great rate at Comfort Suites Maingate last night. $49.90 average per night. So we booked our 10th trip to the WDW. We stayed at CSME last year but their rates are higher this year and the hotel has gone completely non-smoking.

Has anyone stayed at CS Maingate in the last year? The reviews on Trip Advisor seem basically ok with one or two complaints.

Hey, maybe w e'll see you there! We just booked our flights and pool villa for Jan. 6-16th. My dh is running the marathon again. Sorry, don't know about your hotels though! Jen

DH and DD are thinking about running the half marathon or the 5K. I think the 5K would be much better.

We drive by Kingston on our way to the Ivy Lea Bridge. We will wave as we go by before daylight. We try to get half way through South Carolina the first day and sometimes to the edge of Georgia. Then we have a short second day.

I went on the hotel website and it gave me a rate of 95.00 for the same time period.
how did you get such a good deal?
Di i have to call the hotel instead of booking online?

I used the Choice rate guarantee. It is really easy but mutliple steps are involved.

1. I first went to the www.floridakiss.com website and checked under accomodations for suite hotels. When I scrolled down to the Comfort Suites Maingate I clicked on their web site and checked my dates and received rates of $49. for weekdays and 69. for weekends.

2. I then booked my trip on www.choicehotels.com at $53.99 weekdays and $71.99 weekends. I then applied for the Choice Rate Guarantee. The average nightly cost is then $49.90. The guarantee the best rate or 10% less than the lowest rate you can find on line.

Are you looking at Comfort Suites Maingate Resort or Comfort Suites Maingate East. The lower rate for January was at Maingate Resort. I know that the rate is much higher in February.

Parks are empty, weather is lovely (well...maybe I'm stretching that.. But it sure ain't humid!!LOL)
