So busy this time of year.

Just came back from doing Christmas hampers at the church. It is great to see how much people give at this time but sad that more people need the helping hand this year too.

Went to the kids Christmas concert last night , always cute seeing the little ones perform.

Been baking cookies for the last two weeks and now have to bake more because my family has been into them and both kids are having something in the classroom next week.

I think we are the only school still in next week until Wed. and have to go back on a Jan 6th which on a Thursday. Next week will be a write off and I am guessing the two days they go back in that week will be too. Then before you know we will be on vacation.

I missed who set up the Photo Bucket account?

Schools around here go until next Wednesday too, but we have to go back on Monday the 3d. Kids only get 1 1/2 weeks for the holidays. I wish we would start school earlier and have a longer Christmas vacation!!!!

I have done a cookie exchange the last few years which is nice. I don't like a lot of the cookies we get, but I give them away for teacher gifts And it keeps everyone out of my favorite cookies which we don't break into until right before Christmas. It is kind of like a little cookie build-up!

I still have to do the photobucket thing. I have to find a good picture!! We went to Busch Gardens for their Christmas Town and took a picture there with one of the Clydesdales. It was kind of funny, because the photographer kept saying "look here buddy" and I thought he was talking about the baby. When I went to preview the pics, I saw that my DS (8) is staring at the horse. I asked him if the horse made him a littel nervous. He replied there was no way he was turning his back on something that huge!! It is actually a really cute pic because my son is smiling but clearly looking at that horse with complete distrust

Hi there! I am doing a directory with pictures, so that everyone can get familiar with each other. After you send me your info (screen name, actual names of cruisers, where you're from, cabin #, e-mail, etc.) I will send you the photobucket info so you can upload your picture there so I can put it on the directory. (I don't want to post it here publicly for privacy reasons for everyone). I also thought if people wanted they could post pictures there after we get back to share if you wanted! I hate my picture taken too but I do a family picture every Christmas.

Note: I do not look like that everyday. And when you see me on the cruise I most likely have no makeup on. And the hair will we will have to see...what the weather brings. Now my hubby he always looks the same, even in our yearly pictures.

I have very thin hair so it is really hot it will be plastered down, maybe it will be really wind blow on deck, you just never know...

My hair was never the put in a pony tail and go...has to be washed every day or it looks terrible.

I also hate my picture taken, last friday I went and had my hair cut short for the first time in my life! Took off about 12 inches! My hair is fine too and all I was doin was putting it in a ponytail so figured I may as well chop it off! wow its gonna take some getting use to but its so much easier to handle! Its a little shorter then I really wanted but it will grow so its okay for now. when I can get a pic that I like I will send it in , thats if I can find one I like LOL

I don't mean to complain too....but I have the OPPOSITE problem with hair!! My hair is soooo THICK! I never do it....just pull it back and there I go. It takes me 20min to blow dry and then an extra 10 to straighten. I am both too busy to do it and also too lazy and don't want to waste my time! BUT, you may see me once or twice with my hair down during the cruise...we'll see...

That is my dd and son's hair, very thick. And they both have a natural wave. It is a pain to wash theirs. Hubby used to have thick hair..

That is exactly my hair too!!! Now that it is shorter it doesnt take as long but now I ALWAYS have to do it I cant just put it up and go....

Same as me - really think hair and I just cant be bothered to do all the work that it rightly deserves.

By some miracle or a faulty weight watchers scale, I managed to lose 2 lbs this week. I certainly didn't make good choices in the last week, but it somehow worked out. 8 to go!
