January 29, 2011 - 7 Day Eastern - WOOHOO!!

:welcome: mindylh 13

You might be late for the fish extender but not to late to join our thread.

Tell us about yourself...where are you from, who is traveling with you?

I'm traveling with my spouse, 2 kids (7 and 4), my MIL, and my Brother-in-Law and his wife. My kids don't know about it yet...they will find out on Christmas day. I can't wait!

No worries RE: too late for the fish extender. We might do one ourselves between the cabins just for fun. I also saw that a lot of people decorate their doors...any good recommendations on where to get door decorations???

We are all signed up for excursions. My husband and his brother wanted to do the Mountain Trek, but they waited too long and it sold out. The others we are all set for!

Welcome! I love this thread! I have learned so much being that this is our first cruise too. Do you have boys or girls? I have a 9 yr boy who is excited about hanging out with other kids. We decided to not do the FE our first time around but have thought about decorating our door. Will think more about it after the holidays. :cutie:

Where are you from? Sounds like a nice family vacation.
Are your kids boys or girls? There are a lot of 4 year olds on this trip.

We are from Illinois, so we can't WAIT to escape the cold and snow. My 7 year old is a girl and 4 year old is a boy. Trying to decide the best way to surprise them with the info about the cruise...it'll make for a fun Christmas morning!::MickeyMo

We are from Illinois too! Are you from Chicago or the other half of the state?

Good evening all!

I was setting up the FE spreadsheet, and I came across a few cabins that I questions about. I see that there are 2 adults listed in each of the following cabins:

steinberg

So I can have an accurate count, may I have the genders of said adults? I would assume one male, one female, but if there are any corrections to be made, please feel free to contact me. Going with the assumed genders of the six adults mentioned above I can provide the following information about the cruisers on the FE List.

Total number of people: 79
Adults: 48 (24 male, 24 female)
Children (17 years of age or younger): 31 (14 boys, 17 girls)

So is this good or bad...the ship being sold out or close to it? :confused3

It shouldn't make much difference! :)

We sailed over Halloween on a sold-out ship and it didn't feel crowded. Yes there are times the pool was full (well, the preferable loungers) and the pirate party was PACKED but other than that it wasn't bad at all. We didn't have to line up early for the shows and your dinner seats are always guaranteed :)
