I've missed a lot. I will try to catch up.

I lost my dad Monday morning, so we have been working on getting my mom into a nursing home and handling details for my dad. Lots of stuff going on. Glad to have a happy cruise to look forward to.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I hope your friends and family are with you to support you.

hey we are just down the hall from each other as I am 5522!!!!!

I know I noticed that when I was looking at my location, I was looking thru the FE room numbers today and remembered you were staying in 5522. Did you say you have a SPH? I have a sideways room....

Sorry, I have been a bit MIA on our cruise meet. I own my own custom invitations (weddings, etc) business and I have been soooo busy. I am also adjusting to juggling that and being a 1st time mommy. I will try to stay up to speed.

Are there cruise meets scheduled or anything else I should know about? On our May 2009 cruise we all wore rubber bracelets (neon green) that one of the DISers order, so that we would know when we ran into another DISer. Are we doing anything like that for this cruise?

We will forgive you this time but pop in every so often and say HI..... just teasing. Being a mommy for the first or sixth (hee hee) is time consuming enough without having to through a business in there too. My friend does that too and bakes cakes and all those yummy things.

I think closer to the cruise someone is going to set up a meet place or something..I think I seen something about that somewhere on here..

I'm super late to the list, but my DSIL and I are sailing on Jan 29th too! I had been searching by the 1/29/2011 date and couldn't find it!

It's my second DCL cruise (took 5 night double-dip last May) and my DSIL's first cruise! Can't wait!

Looks like there will be a lot of us from the north! We're in Southcentral Alaska (right down the street from Sarah Palin) and the wind is howling today!!! It's now too terribly cold (18 deg F), but who knows with the wind chill..... best just stay inside and dream of the Caribbean!

I hope for that to be ready by New Years, assuming all room assignments are made by then (I think we only have one GTY that still needs a room #).

I also have an 8-year-old boy who will love to meet the boys his age. I already told my kids about the abundance of 4-year-old girls and DD was sooooo excited and DS was horrified at the thought of all those little girls like his sister!!! He'll be happy to hear there are also boys his age!!

I haven't really been tracking names of adults or kids on my list, and some people are touchy about people knowing the names of their kids from a Stranger Danger point of view...so if anyone wants to track that, feel free, but I think I'll stay out of that one. If you state gift is for male or female child/male or female adult on it that could work too so the right person in the cabin gets the gift.

Yes its a SPH room - we are very excited.....you can come and look out our blocked window (LOL)
