January 29, 2011 - 7 Day Eastern - WOOHOO!!

Going through the past posts is making more excited about the cruise and meeting all of you! Anyone with 7 year old girls/boys? I can see that 4year old girls are well represented which is great for my little 4yr dd!!

I am not surprised the cruise is a sell out. Kids sail free/deals for canadians surely helped this. Should make for an interesting ride!!

WOW! This thread is so busy. It's so exciting seeing all the posts from my fellow Canucks. We are all getting so excited and since Monday is the final pay't date, it's starting to seem real. Anyone with a teen girl interested in connecting their DD with mine? She'll have just turned 14.

Have I missed a discussion regarding a meet and great for our group?

:)

We love our neighbors to the north :). With the large number of Canadians on this cruise, does this mean I will come home from vacation pronouncing my "Os" differently and saying "aye" a lot? :)
Better be careful...we're catchy! My buddy Jennifer, who I went to college with, was from Ithaca, New York and everytime she went home, they could not believe her new "accent" and vocabulary. lol.

I looked last night and it looks like there are 4-1 bedroom suites still open-maybe the pixie dust will be flying!

We haven't mentioned a meet place or time. Guess we will wait to closer to the time so no one missed it. It would great to meet up at least once at the beginning of the cruise.

It will be weird to have so many Canadians on the cruise. At least we won't have to explain were some places are. And that we don't have snow all year long. :lmao:

We have a 9 yr old boy (he looks like he's 11 or so). We weren't looking to go that early in the year but couldn't pass up the kids sail free.:banana:

We have mars and 3 musketeers. Sometimes i see cookies & cream hersheys but i remember this more from convenience stores in the late 80's or early 90's when hersheys was experimenting with a lot of different flavors. Are kinder eggs legal in canada? You can't bring those into the us legally :(

Going back to Kinder Eggs  I was at the Shoppers Drug Mart today and I noticed that they are selling Kinder Egg Advent calendars for Christmas.

I don't have a teen daughter but I do have a 15 year old son she might be interested in LOL

Yes, I think that would be great! What's everyone doing day one?

You mean we don't have snow all year long? I guess it just seems that way!!! :lmao:

We didn't really have much snow last year where I live but it was brutely cold. I think I shoveled 3 times in all the rest melted or blow away. Lots of light power stuff.

My son snowboards so he wants lots of snow. Me I want it for Christmas Day and then it can go away.

I would say Christmas eve but we are crazy people who drive home Christmas eve from my mom's so my dd can get up and see her gifts from Santa. Even if we usually get home around 3 in the morning. My mom lives 2 hours away and we always go to mass together then party at her house after. There is about 40 of us now , there is six kids and all have kids and even great grandchildren in there now. Fun and sometimes drama all mixed into one.

Or a 13 almost 14 year old boy....:rotfl2:

Oh BOY! What have we started...she's going to kill me! :rotfl:

I live in Ottawa, so we ALWAYS get a good dose of winter and snow.

I'm starting to slowly collect things for the FE. I still have to make ours though. How is everyone else doing with the prep(that's participating) So much fun!!! :woohoo:
