January 29, 2011 - 7 Day Eastern - WOOHOO!!

Where are you from in NOVA? We live in VA too. Leaving out of Dulles on Friday. taking advantage of the two day holiday? :)

Well I have a 9 year old boy he can hang with. :3dglasses

He'll like that. Its fun how quickly they make friends in a week isn't it?? I am sure that stops when they are teens so I am enjoiying it for a few more years!

We are taking advantage of the holiday! Hopefully we won't have all of ths snow we had last year and loose those days. Of course all that means is that my son will miss more school.

We live right near the mixing bowl in the Springfield/Alexandria area. We are flying out of Reagan Sat morning. It is a little easier for us to get to and we usually fly using either US Airways or Delta which both offer direct fligts out of Reagan. This time, we are going Delta.

Are you flyng Southwest? Where do you live??

It's amazing, seems like after being somewhere for 5 minutes min has all kinds of new friends. Hopefully our boys will find each other.

Count us in too! Traveling from Maryland, no kids and can't wait to go aboard!!
Not sure what we are doing with regards to excursions, have never done the eastern cruise.

our group is getting bigger all the time! Welcome everyone!:cheer2::woohoo:

Hurray for us! I'm starting back on my eating regime cause fitness alone is not cutting it. I'm stuck at the last 15 lbs!!!! :confused3

Anyone else in the same boat? Here's to 15 lbs gone by Jan 29!!!

And thanks to all the welcome posts. :cheer2:

I'm right there with you, 21lbs down though and have been stuck for a while - just going to keep trying and hopefully I'll break through!

Try as I may, I loss and it all comes back. I have lost 70lbs three times in my life time you think I would learn to keep it off. :sad2:

Well be happy if I don't gain over the holidays. Including this weekend as it is our Canadian Thanksgiving. Stuffing and pumpkin pie calls my name. And maybe a piece of my mom's cherry cheese cake yummy. Oh sorry to the ones trying to lose weight...I got carried away. Now you know how the weight comes back!:lmao:

Is everyone having as nice weather as we have been the last few day? It is like summer again. Love it!!

I hear ya. 2 thanksgiving dinners this weekend one at my sisters another at my daughters! but im gonna use the smallest plate I can so I can have a little bit of everything , just in small portions! Then maybe a nice long walk after dinner since the weather is going to be great!:cool1:

Brr woke up to frost this morning. It has been so nice the last few days. The sun is still shining so that is good it will warm up.

Today is 10-10-10 suppose to be the perfect day. Or a lucky day for the ones that get marred today. Because it is a perfect score date.

Hope they are right on the lucky part. Have to go across Toronto to get home for Thanksgiving dinner tonight with family. Hoping traffic is light and accident free.

And since my whole post was mostly on the date. There is only 75 days until Christmas!!

It was just starting to drizzle in Kitchener when I left for home. Then we got no rain for the rest of the day here. Traffic was great coming back too. Brought lots of leftovers home so didn't have to cook last night either. :yay:

Now this morning it is cool out but the sun is shining. Have to remember it is Tuesday and not Monday or the kids will miss swimming lesson and Guides tonight.

WOO HOO - I am so excited - I am about 95% confident that we are going to book this cruise at the end of the week......Cant wait.

To help out - it would be good if I knew if anyone sailing had kids around my kids' ages - Son who is 11 and Daughter who is 8......let me know

I will have to go back and read all the pages once we are for sure booked.

Happy Dance

Hi! I haven't been posting long, but I have an 8 year old son and I know of at least one other 8 year old boy and an 8 year old girl (see discussion just a few posts up). Also recall a 13 year old boy too (although 13 and 11 are not that close I suppose!). And there aren't that many people in our little group so if you extrapolate to the larger ship, its a pretty good guess that there will be a number of kids that age group (not as many as during the summer obviously!) Hope you book. I think it is going to be great. We have been booked for almost a year now, myself, DH, DS(8), DD (4) and DS(10 months on sailing day). We will also have MIL, FIL and SIL - great big family vacation celebrating anniversaries and retiring from the military (DH).

DH already posted earlier about this being our first cruise & we have a 9 yr old son (jhieber). Still have to get our flights; rental car; hotel room & learn about the ports (excursions or not?)... sigh BUT can't believe we are finally going to do it! Looking forward to making new friends! :upsidedow:cool1::cool1:
