It is up to you how much you want to give. Some people do 1 thing for each person, some do 1 per room, some do several things for the people in each stateroom to share. Some people do gifts for every day but I think most only give on one day. I may do gifts on two days depending on how what I bought works out. We didn't do a schedule for who would deliver when and that is fine with me. I would just say make sure they are all passed out but midday on our last full day so everyone can pack.

Speaking of FE gifts what I had planned did NOT work at all! I was a little too ambitious and there was NO way I was going to get them all done! Way more time consuming than I thought. So today I made a run to Michaels and I got something to make that I really like.

I also got an amazing dress and shoes on sale for formal night. We are having dinner at Victoria and Albert's our first night at WDW and it will be perfect for for that night as well so double score!

I still have to start working on what we are taking! I supposed I should do that soon in case I need to go shopping!

One last FE question...should we put on the gifts somehow who they are from?

We'll be taking the DCL transport from POFQ. Which resort are you coming from? We might be on the same bus. Anybody here on the bus will know we're on it if they see a redhead in a red wheelchair and two confused parents. Come on over and say hello. We can get a head start on the introductions.

Hi, I booked us the pirate ship in St.Thomas, but it would not let me add our infant. Does anyone know if they are not allowed to go with parents and siblings on the tour? If so, there is only one excursion that says infants. This worries me. I know on other lines that there isnno charge for infants but they are allowed to go on with parents. Anyone have experience with this?

I tried to call Disney, but after being on hold for about 30 minutes, I had to do something else. They must be extremely busy tonight.

I was told that our 4 year old could not go. They had to be 5. We are going on a different pirate boat in St maarten instead.

We will be at POR, I assume that it would be the same bus. I think that the last time we were there on the DCL bus we went to POFQ. We will be the 2 DP who just realized that they are going on the Magic for a week w/o DD and DS, the look of absolute guilt and happiness! Can't wait to meet you and everyone!

I put a small card last time letting them know who it was from. Some people do, some don't, it is up to you.

We rae going to do Lord Sheffield Pirate Ship while in St Maarten instead. We had them booked in 2005 but could not go due to a hurricane I still have the info from 2005 in my email!!! So I contacted them are we are going to give them a try again

I am going shopping tomorrow for a few things for the cruise. I need shoes for formal night. Since I had the back surgery, I don't think I will be wearing heels. it's going to be a challenge for me to even shop for shoes tomorrow, much less wear them! It's still just been 10 days since my surgery.

Wonder what the infant should wear to formal night? I think our 5 year old will be in a nice pair of pants, white bottom up shirts and a red sweater vest.

I am wear an nice dressy shirt with lots of bling and a nice pair of black pants.

I read this after I posted you the email address. I have heard back and we are booked on the 1pm excursion. There is also a 9am...but we decided we would take it slow that morning since our excursion in St Thomas is early.

Greetings - first-time cruisers (first-time Disney anything for that matter). Is it too late to get signed up for the FE listing. We would like to participate as well as receive the goodies for the kiddos - but I think I saw an earlier post that they were trying to cut it off by Dec 31.

Please let me know if we can be added to the list (and receive the list of others) and that it is not too late...

I did not signnup for the FE exchange in time either, so I can't remember the cut off date but I am sure that someone will post about it later. I may just on board with the FE exchange if they will let us too.

We've been booked since last spring at least - just never found this forum until recently. Have read lots of online info, have the Passporter book, but have found DISboards to be very helpful. Finally got our excursion booked for St. Thomas and have started packing. Being the DH - I am not a "crowds" person, but this should be fun none-the-less. It's about the kids anyhow! We're just waiting for the first snowstorm of the year to hit the Great Lakes and it will probably be when we fly out!

The cutoff date for the FE was Dec. 28th. That said, I had lots of extras, and think the more, the merrier. I know, though, that many have already prepared for the number of participants that were signed up on the cutoff date.

If it's okay with everyone, I'd like to offer the following option:

Anyone wishing to add on late can add their name to the list. The understanding would be that they may not receive an FE gift from every participant, but would receive from those of us who have extras. So, no guarantees, but still able to participate.

If you'd like to get on late, and understand these terms, please send me your email address to angiebales@gmail.com. I'll share the document with you, and you can edit your information in.

For those of you who signed up by the deadline, and have extras: you will need to add in the late participants' information on the floor plans I sent out. Just be mindful of that when printing out your floorplans.

I hope that this is okay for everyone. I hate to turn anyone away from the FE exchange, but I don't want to burden those who have already finished with their FE preparations.

Been checking the weather for our trip to St. John's, St Thomas and St. Martin and it always seems like the 5 day forecast is for rain, like 40% all the time. I thought January would be dryer than what I've been seeing the last month there.

Any thoughts?

About the weather... I really hope it's a good trip and not to rainy and cool. We have been on another cruise in January, back a few years ago and the seas were the roughest we had ever experienced while cruising. My husband swore then, that he would never cruise in Jan again and now... Here we are! Cruising in January husband will kill me if we have rough seas again!

WELCOME! I second that you will love DCL! As for snowstorms, I have a fear that NC will have a freak snowstorm of the century the day we try to fly out. Positive thoughts....positive thoughts........

I am not worried about it. When we went 2 years ago in Nov, the showers were hit and miss. On St Croix, it was raining on one side of the island and by the time we reached the beach on the other side, it was clear, then rain late in the afternoon. In St Thomas, we had a clear morning and then a passing shower in the afternoon. It seemed like they passed fairly quickly. I am just hoping for smooth seas, as the first 2 days at sea were rough. I am better prepared this time with the patches from the dr.
