January 28, 2012-do you believe in MAGIC?

Doh! I see you're from Columbus. Should have just read your profile thingy! Guess you'll be flying in. We are lucky enough to live close enough to drive. Doing any fun excursions?

I see u figured out where we r from. Until a few weeks ago we were driving ...southwest ran a great deal and we r now flying. We r doing beach excursions on both stops...don't remember which ones. We don't have anything booked for castaway cays yet except for a couples massage. What about u guys?

Thanks, Angie.
I actually meant to say I saw it on another thread, but I think you knew what I meant.
Feel free to copy it and use it if you'd like.
It was passed around on the other thread, so it's not like I own it or anything. :)

Hmm....I wonder if I could find that paper that makes iron-on transfers and make it into a t-shirt? (Just thinking out loud.)

I know this was posted months ago...but did anyone ever make ironon transfers or anything with it? Just curious...it is cute!

I'm glad you'll both be well enough for the cruise!

I was just looking to see if a Palo brunch had opened but there are still none. But there are spots for Palo tea on day 6. I booked it for Chris and me but I may cancel his. It might be a nice treat for me. :goodvibes Has anyone in our group done it?

We are going clothes shopping next weekend. I may have a dress I can wear for formal night but I really need to try it on! I have not worn it in about three years and I am a bigger girl than I was then!!! I want Chris to wear his uniform but he is afraid he will look out of place. I told him other people wear their formal dress but he is afraid people will come up to him and thank him and shake his hand. He thinks because he has never deployed he does not deserve it. So we may be spending a ton of money on something for him to wear when he just bought a new dress blue uniform to get married in :sad2:

What do men wear for semi-formal night? :confused3

I also ordered a bunch of stuff from Amazon. A TON of sunblock, blister kits for WDW, Bonine just in case. We are leaving the 19th and going out of town the weekend of the 13th-15th so I'll be sorting and making lists starting now.

And I still need to get my FE gifts ready! For my actual FE I was just going to use a decorated canvas bag. That is ok right? I don't have the talent to make one and didn't want to spend a ton on one so I just used stuff I already had to decorate it.

Tea is the *one* thing I had my heart set on, but it's closed. I've been checking pretty regularly, but haven't been able to get a spot. I booked brunch, and am hoping that maybe one we're on board I'll be able to get in for tea.

Tea is the one thing I was hoping for too. I'm Irish and in my family afternoon tea is a big deal, so I'd love to do it Disney style!

FE gift question:

One of the items I'd been planning on giving out to everyone is a sauce. I just realized it comes in a 4 oz bottle and TSA requirements are 3 oz for carry ons. Do y'all think I'm ok in going ahead with the 4 oz? I'm assuming most people will check their bags for such a long cruise so the bottle should be fine (it's a plastic bottle). Or should I scratch the sauce and come up with something else? I really don't want to scratch the sauce! It's so late in the game now and there's a great story behind the sauce. But be honest with me, I don't want anyone getting harassed by TSA because of me!

Tea shows open on day 6 for me. The sea day after St Thomas. :confused3 I was really wanting brunch so we are going to try to book as soon as we get on board.

I say bring it. I think most people will check a bag if they are flying. And some people are driving. I can imagine not checking a bag for 8+ days.

The FE cutoff is Dec. 28th. I was able to get brunch at Palo, but would love to have tea, as well. I called Disney and they told me to head straight to Guest Services upon boarding to make this request. HTH.

We were able to get reservations for Tea. Have not done Tea before so we are looking forward to it:yay:

So, I was hopeful that maybe there were some openings for tea that I couldn't see for whatever reason... I called customer service, and they said tea is all booked up. They said to "keep trying" though, and to try Rockin' Bar D immediately upon embarkation. I'll try, but I'm not holding my breath. :sad2:

I think the sauce would be a great gift. I'm sure most, if not all, of us will be checking a bag.

YES it is coming sooner then we realize. I have to say I am on the computer every day just looking at Disney things. LOL! The only bad thing is the 8 days will FLY by way to fast! Maybe our next will have to be longer.
I just had back surgery 2 months ago and the Dr had said I would be in a wheel chair on the cruise. I am please to say I am doing great and actually was released a month early to go back to work. YAY! So I have a lot to be thankful and anxious for.
We to are flying down the day before. We are from Ohio and you never know what the weather is going to be like so it's better to be there and be ready as the ship will not wait for us.
We are staying at the Holiday Inn Express. It's the same one we stayed at 3 years ago. We are taking the Cocoa Beach Shuttle to port. Also the same one we used.
I wish all of you a great NEW YEAR's begining and will see you on board!! :cheer2:

Are you the family from Bellfountain...or a different family?

I have finally caught up on all of the posts! That took a while since I had not been on since April!!! Now that Christmas and New Years is over I can focus on getting ready for the Cruise:banana: I am pretty sure we are on the FE list. I checked the doc I was sent back in April...I am assuming that is still the document? I updated ages for a few in our group since we have had some birthdays since we got on the lsit:thumbsup2 After updating the ages, I realized it is past the deadline date...so I hope that updating our ages was still ok:confused3 I have so much to do to get ready! I did get our ground transfer booked today:cheer2: Now onto the other 1000 things to get ready!

We are the family from Bellefontaine Ohio. ; )

It took me a while to get caught up on everyone! I am still sure that I do not have it correct...but working on it:banana:

I may have already said this...but we are from Columbus...well actaully Hilliard, Ohio. We are nearly neighbors:cool1:
