I gave her the URL to palmickey.net cause she wanted to see what he looked like and she's interested in making stuff that will work for him. I ordered a sweater and I'll let you know when it arrives and how it looks.
Thanks. Ss soon as you mentioned her I figured that was the case. Yes, I'd like to see the sweater when you get it. :)

My Pal is feeling deprived because he doesn't have any new clothes except the Pirate costume, although he has LOTS of hand-me-downs from my prior Pals. He is hoping to receive money from me for Christmas so he can have me take him clothes shopping and personally select what he likes!

I am still debating which Pal to take. I had planned to take the original, but you know I "sort of" let my mom have him and she is used to having him around where she can see him. So that meant HCOE Pal would get to go. Now I discover that new Sorcerer Pal is lighter weight, so if he doesn't gain any (hahaha) HE may end up sailing. pixiedust:

Just saying hi  to my fellow cruisemates and getting us bumped back up! (I LIKE having activity on this thread ...somehow it makes me feel like the cruise is closer!!!!) :boat:

My DD11 LOVES horses and she saw the shore excursion listing in Cozumel for horseback riding. However, I noticed the age requirement on the excursion Disney offers is 12. She will turn 12 in May, but I wasn't sure if that was close enough.

So, I started a search for other horse excursions we might be able to book on our own. I found one in Grand Cayman through www.grandcaymancruiseexcursions.com, but I was wondering if anyone else has experience with them or with other companies offering horse excursions?

Thanks!

Kim

80 days!

P.S. I finally posted a picture with Joshua, too. http://worknotes.com/MD/Hanover/Wesley/gallery1.stm

80 days and counting. Now I'm counting down on two forums, home and office computers........

wonder how full the booking is for our Jan 27 cruise????

Hi Dis Gal! Glad to see you here but I hope you won't abandon the "other" board (Our "Pal" board!). Heh-heh.

Every DCL cruise I have sailed on was either full or nearly full. I am guessing that the FL Resident rate for our sail date will ensure that. Not to worry though - It really does not seem any more crowded when full. ;)

hey disgal or should I say "roomie". neat seeing you here too.

80 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You realize she has 34 pages of posts to get through if she wants to catch up on this thread! :rotfl2:

I definately agree that the anticipation has been wonderful. I'm not sure what I'll do to keep myself occupied when the cruise and WDW have come and gone... I guess we will just have to rebook on board!!! :rotfl2:

That's what we did this past year. I mentioned to DH that I was having Magic Kingdom, Epcot, etc. withdrawls since we haven't actually been to WDW in three years. He replied that maybe we should consider a non-Disney vacation. I asked why? He didn't answer. :rotfl:

The last time we went to WDW, we had planned to go to Disney's Vero Beach Resort. However a hurricane came through and damaged Vero Beach. We had already purchased our airfare to Orlando, so we were "forced" to go to WDW instead. Maybe we can plan another Vero Beach trip again and end up in WDW again.

Besides, we are planning a non-Disney vacation. We're going to GenCon next year in August. I don't think Disney has gotten into Dungeons and Dragons, yet.

I buy a couple of lottery tickets when the jackpot gets up there. No, I don't think I will win but I get to dream. It's the anticipation.

Well, for a few more dollars (haha), the cruise also allows my to dream. The only difference is that I know I will be a winner on 1/27/07.

I think it should be a law that everyone has to have a booked vacation to dream about, even if it's in the distant future. It puts a smile on your face.

See everyone in about 80 days.

Actually now it's 19 pages and counting down. :hourglass :joker:

lol

To past the time we are taking an NCL Eastern Cruise for Thanksgiving. We leave for the Florida Keys on Thanksgiving Day and then on sunday get on the cruise ship for a week. I found out that the week after Thanksgiving is a cheap time to take a cruise.

I booked our Grand Cayman semi-submarine ride directly with the company (Nautilus). It was cheaper than going through Disney and I had read many favourable reports about them..

ooops, not Nautilus but Atlantis - they don't charge for children under 3... any dollar saved is a good thing...

ok - I'm caught up guys. Went on the DCL website to enter my form info today. It has been grayed out and reading 'available 11/12/06' - well that's today. :surfweb:
However still grayed out. So called the DCL line and CM says - 'oh that means it is available after midnight today'. So it really should be 11/13/06.

ophh well -

disgal did they mention why i was able to complete my in Sept but you couldn't until now? is if because flight info? just curious.
