JANUARY 27, 2007 "PAL MICKEY" Western Magic ROLL CALL

CONGRATULATIONS!! What a lovely addition to your beautiful family!! Get lots of sleep (hahaha) and I can't wait to see the newest addition to our cruise family!

Take care,

CONGRATULATIONS, Kim! He's SO cute - - even with his eyes closed - LOL!

Wow!! How exciting. Yo have a beautiful family. I am glad you are both doing well. Welcome home!

Take care,
Steph

Congrats from here as well!

And born on the same day as my twin nephews no less.

I believe CC members can make online ressies in the middle of the night on Oct. 28 - - well actually the 29th at 3 a.m. EST - - because that will be midnight on the west coast. Remember that at 2 am Daylight Savings Time ends.

Thank you!! I just love the idea of getting up at 3 in the morning :rotfl: , but it is sooo worth it :cloud9: :cloud9:

Did anyone read the thread about the change in Pirate Night?? It seems that they've moved it to Tuesday night from Wednesday night which kinda screws up my Palo reservation which in turn requires changes to Flounders, etc. etc.... Any thoughts from you veteran cruisers or am I getting my shorts in a knot for no good reason??

I would not worry about it. It appears to be a one-time thing. Only time will tell, as of course DCL can change anything at any time, but I'd say don't stress over it.

We also send our congratulations from Saskatchewan, we will be looking forward to seeing Elijah and family in January. Hope you're feeling good! :dogdance:

Wellll...............we made that rather LARGE final payment last night and we are ready for excursion and Palo bookings this Saturday. We still have one more final payment to make on my In-laws cabin but that won't hurt near as bad as ours did - that one isn't due until Nov. 13 so we will pay it on Nov 11 or 12 :goodvibes .

Congrats Kim on your new little one. - What a gorgeous baby, thanks for the photos.

Our cruise is creeping closer and closer, can't wait! :cloud9: Have a great weekend everyone, hope everyone that gets to make ressies this weekend gets what they wish for.

I think we are doing our own thing in Key West, in Grand Cayman we will do an Island tour with MIL and FIL and then in Cozumel we will snorkel (just us without MIL and FIL). Of course in CC we will do the rays and snorkel as well. We plan to try and get Palo on Mon dinner and again on Thurs for brunch :thumbsup2

Have a great weekend everyone and don't forget the best time to get those pirate accessories is next Tuesday and Wednesday :goodvibes

Has anyone tried the Key West Catamaran race excursion? My husband is a car racer and loves competition :cheer2: so this is right up his alley. I thought I would book him and my 12 year old daughter on that and then I'll just walk around with the baby and shop in Key West and maybe stop at the Aquarium. I took the kids to the Aquarium last time and even though its small, they really liked it.

For Pal Mickey owners - -

WDW has just released two new "official" Pal Mickey costumes - a Santa Mickey (hat, jacket and bag) and PIRATE CAPT'N (hat, coat with attached sword, and boots). :thumbsup2

Those two and all previous official Pal outfits except the Pin Trader one are now $12. Pin Trader is still $10.

I bought the Pirate Capt'n costume and will post pics tomorrow on PalMickey.net of my Sorcerer Pal wearing it.

For anyone flying out of the Baltimore, MD area...

Southwest currently has flights for $59 each way to Orlando! :thumbsup2

I thought the $79 each way last week was great. My family of 6 will be flying for under $700 total roundtrp. (Of course, that's with one lap child.) The best thing is that although we had originally booked at the higher rate, I was able t o get the lower rate and a credit for $200. AND the flights I got are both direct non-stop flights. :goodvibes

I know I saw someone else on here in the Maryland area. I hope this helps someone.

Kim

CASTAWAY Club Members----Are you ready for our big night???
Not really, but I'll be setting my alarm just to try for Palo Brunch. Crazy, huh? :rotfl2:

So is it at 3 a.m. EST meaning midnight west coast? And at 2 a.m. we turn the clocks back so if we didn't turn them back it would then be 4 a.m. that we can make ressies, right? Oh, the torture! :badpc:
