Check your ressies. My price just went down $120/pp. I called DCL and they changed it for me

BUT...they added a $93 resort tax (2 nights at the Poly pre-cruise) ARGH!!! So now it's only $147. No luck getting it taken off. It's a "new" tax and because I reshopped the cruise it popped up.

Is that through any TA or just DCL?

I don't know, but it might be worth a call.

Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to stop by and say "hi" to everyone. I am glad to see some new people joining the thread and the cruise. I am also sorry to see that some won't be joining us because of various reasons, you will be missed, but I am sure you will have a lot fun on the cruises you are switching to.

I just got off of the Wonder yesterday. My husband and I did the 4 day without the kids. We of course had fun, but I did miss my children and found that I was playing with the children sitting next to us in the dining room. I am so excited to be doing this cruise with them in Jan. They don't know yet that we are going, we are going to surprise them and tell them on Christmas.

Well I hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the cruise. Enjoy the last few days of summer and Labor day everyone.

What all do we have planned for FE’s. I have never really done one before so I am unsure how this works and what all I need to be doing. Is a meet also being planned?

Well I broke my foot and have been out of work for a bit and was very concerned we would not make this cruise. We shuffled the budget and made some sacrifices but we are still a go. For starters I had to down grade our cabin to an inside room. I will post the room number once we get them. I think I am going to have to pass on FE’s even though they sound fun. Money is so tight right now.

I have some info posted on post #2. You can click on them and it will also take you to the cruise site where you can find some more info. As it gets closer and more people sign up, I will do my best with my limited computer skills, to make a FE map to find all the cabins.

Yes, there is also the meet info there as well. Nothing is written in stone, so if you or anyone else has any ideas please let me know.

Vistaprint (look in the left hand column) offers products for free (in large quantities) and all you have to pay is the shipping which is usually around $5. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but I had some FE goodies done that way

For some reason I got super excited today about the trip!!!! I can’t wait! My cabin number may change. I had to downgrade to a cat 10 so I am not sure where I will be. I am thinking of trying to upgrade at the terminal if I have the money.

We can't wait. We got off the magic about a week ago, it was our first DCL cruise (3rd in all), an eastern carribean. We rebooked onboard and it sure was a great feeling knowing that we would be back in about 4 months!

It’s ok. Healing very SLOWLY!! I go to the Dr Wed for a re-xray. If it is healed (I doubt it) I will get this thing off. If not I guess I get to keep it a few more weeks. It’s already been almost 2 months.

I am attempting my own magnets this time. My kids loved them when we went last year (1 year ago to the day). I checked out the graphic thread and once I had an idea of what I wanted had one of the gals who makes the designs do a few for me. My next step is to print the stuff out, laminate and hot glue a magnet to the back. I also went with DH to the hardware store tonight and got a bunch of the Mickey head paint sample pictures to play with as well. I am very non-creative so this is a big challenge for me. I would love to do the FE’s but money is super tight right now. I even had to downgrade my cabin. I guess that’s better than not going at all. I would sleep on a deck chair if that’s what it took.

Hi Susie, glad to have you aboard! Check out the 1st and 2nd posts on this thread, here , They will provide you with all the info you'll need. We have a cruise site with info and other fun stuff, check it out.

The person who was previously in charge of the magnet exchange had to change her vacation plans. Soooo, we are looking for someone to do that. It's all yours if you want it

The kids love HAL! less kids, more time really making friends etc. We've bene on 2 DIS cruises-both on the Magic, once whent he kids were 3 & 5 and again a year later. We've done this itinerary already too, but we don't care-as long as it's HOT!
We've reconsidered DIS because we got the pin code (first ever for us!) and it's only about $200 more than HAL and a better itinerary for us.
