I kept trying the AP discount and it only gave rack rates...and now it's gone completely!! Ugh.

Of course the one night I don't work (Yay night shift) they drop the discount.

But I'm glad I got to switch to Yacht Club for $10 more! As we are only going to Epcot before our cruise that makes the most sense to me.

Ugh. I gave up on this week and slept in today! And everything I wanted is gone online. Man, should have booked yesterday at rack. LOL I can't even call. It won't put me on hold it just says all lines are tied up, call back later.

I could see the AP discounts like an hour ago, but it's doing the same thing to me now. I'm sure it's a glitch, hopefully it'll be resolved soon.

same thing here. I went into my history and when I called up the page it said "Special offer not available"

Well after deliberating and messing around a little bit we made a decision. We have plane tickets so are locked into the dates. There was no availability at POFQ for our current dates. I looked at other resorts and with the gift of magic deal $300 more for AKL standard. So it was either keep what we have at rack rate or move to deluxe and take advantage of deal. It was a no-brainer. I *am* disappointed with no SPD deal. We normally stay at POP but this time wanted to try something different, plus we only have one kid that could use the free dining deal.

But I'm going to stop thinking about it and start being totally hyped to stay at AKL! Hope everyone is happy with whatever they are getting.

I had to make two separate reservations
My dates weren’t available so I ended up booking at rack and will give some more thought and calculations

I think people were actually able to book it when it was available, so I'm not sure it was an accident. Though you are right, it's about a month earlier than I expected it to be!

I was actually on the phone with a cast member when she got an email saying the AP and FL resident discount was temporarily suspended both online and for cast member booking. So maybe they did accidentally release early or there is some other problem with it. She said not to worry, that it would come back eventually. Prior to that I was able to book the AP rate for 4 days of my 10 day stay with a split reservation (rack rate for other 6 nights). I am thankful that I got some discount anyway!

I was just looking to improve the YC reservation I already had for last weekend in Jan for 4 nights since our travel was restricted to that 4-day weekend only due to kids can’t miss high school classes. I was able to change our current reservation online this AM and save $500 on a trip we would have taken regardless, so I am happy for that. Took me a while to get the website to work though. We are doing separate 4-day weekend in early Nov. at CBR and I think we got a slight room only “Fall” discount for that one. Having to buy the two sets of separate 4-day park hoppers is the painful part. Have had an annual pass in the past but with the price increase it is close to see if it is better to go that route again. Have to do some math now.

I got the all circuits are busy issue about 6-7 times, but you will eventually get through if you keep trying. It's also possible that what you wanted wasn't discounted. I was online just after 5am CT and didn't find a lot of what I was hoping to see. What you want could also open up as people shift around their plans.

The agent on the phone said we could get the CAD tickets (with gift card) with the room discount, turning it into a package. But they have to refund the original room only deposit and reapply the new package deposit (just a bit of a ding on foreign conversion fees, but not much).

You should call and ask if you can have the new offer applied to your current tickets - doesn't hurt to ask!

On the phone with them now. The short answer is yes, applies to Canadians but tickets need to be in the package as you say. They were able to refund my tickets (hurrah!) and rebook as a package.

We are a family of 4, 2 adults/2 kids. My original 6 day cdn ticket cost 1605.04, and my room ressie with the discount applied was 1081.09 = total 2686.13 (inc memory maker). To recreate as a package with exact options, total is 2704.38, for a total cost difference of $20 increase. However, that makes us eligible for the $120USD gift card, leading to a total savings of an additional $80 (2704-100=2604 vs the 2686 original). Considering my original room reservation pre-discount was for 1200.39 (so original total of 2805), I'm happy.

ETA - I am having a bit of buyers remorse now that I take into account we are gonna get dinged again with that 2.5% conversion fee. And exchange. So it may end up being a wash for us in terms of that $80 savings, but oh well. Just 90 minutes of my day gone on the phone... lol

Just for anyone else, who may be trying. We were able to switch from Boulder Ridge 2 BR Villas, which we couldn't get a discount on, to Copper Creek 2 BR Villas and got the 25% off. So, this was a great deal for us!! Good luck, everyone!!

I got an AP rate this morning and was just telling my friend about it, of course he runs to go look and there is nothing there. Then I clicked on my same dates and it's not there either, no discounts for BWI for any promotion, and then I click on the rack rate room only button and all of a sudden the AP discount showed up in the lineup. I clicked on that button and then it was gone again . I'm glad I got mine, but now I'm sad for everyone who didn't.
