I found a deal with budget for jan 25 till feb 1 for 198 today for a suv with car savers.

I just got a rate of $111 for a standard car for 1/2/14-1/9/14 thru Costco. It is with Budget and you get a $20 Costco cash card as well (some kind of CyberMonday promo). I had a ressie for $160 for the same time period with Alamo (thru Costco) which I thought was good until I happened to check today. I prefer Alamo but for that price, we will use Budget!

Just got a compact through Costco for $134 with Budget for 1/26-2/2. Didn't see anything about a $20 Costco card though?

Just tried to book the alamo costco deal. If you do not have a membership you can't do it Bummer, its a GREAT price!

Just rebooked a full sized with Dollar Jan 11-18 for $174. Almost as good as Alamo with the Costco discount.

Here is a question. I found a coupon code from Budget D646100. It bring my full size rental to $150. We rented from Budget for our honeymoon and they MADE us take the insurance. We couldn't leave the lot without it, thus doubling the price of our rental. Many people have told me that's you never have to take it and Budget just has a pushy customer service rep. To save $23 at this point I'd like to go with it, but am nervous.

thats what I wanted to know too. I just contacted Alamo on Facebook to give them crap for not honoring coupon codes in January at MCO when Budget, Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty all do. They are going to lose business if they keep that up.

Just say no. They cannot force you... Maybe book a backup reservation with another agency and if Budget gets too pushy, just tell them you'll go to the other place.

. We said no last time and they wouldn't give me the keys, lol.

Good idea. Two reservations. Who knows I may find something cheaper than $150 before we go....or at least that's my hope

Sorry, would have been helpful (although it's easy to find by just going on the Costco website) 7014627, for Alamo. Rates are way up on there right now. Budget is $155 with a $20 cash card for a intermediate when I just looked.

I get a cheaper rental rate for Budget by going through the Costco website. I used the Costco codes on the Budget website but it's still cheaper on the Costco website. My question is if I reserve the car through the Costco website, can I still use a Budget Fastbreak membership to skip the counter at the airport? Budget is in the terminal, right? We've only used National before, but their rate is three times what the Budget rate is.

I also wanted to add my fastbreak number to my Costco reservation. i called Costco and they transfered me to Budget. They could not add the number without making a new reservation. So I just went on the Costco website and made a new reservation (for the same rate & cash card) and cancelled my old one. If I had made a new one with Budget, I would have lost the cash card.

How come none of your corporate promo codes, including your partnership with Visa do not work at MCO in January 2014? It seems rather odd that none of them are honored. I used Alamo in June 2013 at the same location and the $30 off with use of a Visa worked. I had a wonderful car, great experience but am frustrated I can't seem to use a discount of any sort this time. Dollar, Thrifty, Hertz and Budget all offer them but you and your partners, Enterprise and National do not. What gives? I am also an "Insider"
