Since I just now discovered the pre-trip board I guess I might as well post mine.
I'm not as clever with the writing as some of you but I am a picture taking fool so I figured I'll post our plans for anyone who wants to tag along for the pics.
We only live an hour and a half away on the east coast, but we are going to spend a week in January for my littlest's birthday. We have passes to most of the theme parks and we go a LOT. My co-workers think we are obsessed and we probably are!
But I don't care, we have a blast as a family.
Usually when we go, we just go over for part of a day and then drive ourselves back. We also just eat out at a fast food place or a quick service meal or snack. So for our week in January, we are going to do things a bit differently and bigger.
First we are going to stay at Bonnet Creek. I have reserved a 4 bedroom presidential so I will be getting lots of pictures of course.
This is us...
My littlest, Mason, will be turning 6. He is very shy and quiet so we plan to make a big deal about his birthday. In fact, I am going to do my own version of the Disney florist thing and have presents in the hotel when he wakes up from his favorite characters. I have a few gifts already like a big stuffed Stitch (his favorite), some Buzz Lightyear pj's, and a video game. If anyone is interested I can take pics of the stuff. I am still working on getting the decorations and such. I am also thinking of buying that huge $50 Mickey face rice krispie treat at Goof's Candy co instead of a cake.
In fact, if anyone has gotten one, I'd like to know if it's good before I shell out $50!
Also, my eldest two are 17 year old twins with New Years for a birthday. Sara and Sam are seniors in high school. So we are also celebrating that as well.
None of the kids have every been to a character meal or any table service meal at Disney. So I have scheduled a bunch!
My ADRs
O'Hana (dinner)
Boma (dinner)
Chef Mickey's (breakfast and Mason's birthday)
Wishes Dessert Party (night on Mason's birthday)
O'Hana (breakfast)
Whispering Canyon Cafe (dinner)
50s Prime Time Cafe (lunch)
Think I am missing anything good?
I think that's everything for now. My two oldest and DH (Ian) know about the trip but it's a surprise for Mason.
I'll be posting pics to everything once I get them.
