We arrive 1/27, and so far I haven't begun packing, just going over what I am bringing in my head! Looks like I need to pack lots of tanks and light pants. My legs aren't ready for shorts yet, too pale.
The only thing I have done so far is made my haircolor and brow wax appointments before our trip. Must look my best for Mickey!

Question for you veteran autograph collectors: what is the best kind of pen? I've read to have a "fat" pen so the characters can grip it better with their big hands. But what exactly does that mean? I have a fat Sharpie, one of those that is not round, but it is a chisel tip, which I would think would make autographing more difficult (unless the characters are into calligraphy? ) Would a regular-thickness Sharpie (about as thick as your finger) be OK? Will a Sharpie bleed through the paper? OK, I realize that I'm worrying too much about this. But I figure that if I'm going to go out and buy a pen, I might as well buy the right one. Thanks!

Awww that was so sweet...thank you!!!! Well and I did the Florida Seasonal Pass so there are some dates (like Easter, Middle of Summer, and then Christmas that are blocked out) but I'm not going to be travelling then. I have made sure that my next trips correspond with available dates!

I just take a fat pen. Actually one of the boys autograph books came with a big pen. It works great. The other one came with a smaller pen and the characters won't even use it. They always grab for the larger one. I don't think I'd take a sharpie, I could just see bad things happening with a sharpie.

I just bought a 2 pack of fat pens from Office Max. I saw them at Walmart as well. They're just regular old clicky pens that are fat. I think they're Bic pens. Nothing special. I think that a Sharpie would bleed through the paper.

Time is still moving quickly for me...I still have way too much stuff to do before we go!

Question for you veteran autograph collectors: what is the best kind of pen? I've read to have a "fat" pen so the characters can grip it better with their big hands. But what exactly does that mean? I have a fat Sharpie, one of those that is not round, but it is a chisel tip, which I would think would make autographing more difficult (unless the characters are into calligraphy? ) Would a regular-thickness Sharpie (about as thick as your finger) be OK? Will a Sharpie bleed through the paper? OK, I realize that I'm worrying too much about this. But I figure that if I'm going to go out and buy a pen, I might as well buy the right one. Thanks!

The last two years we have used a regular Sharpie each time with no issues. We just make sure the top is off and the characters sign away. We've had no problems with them being able to sign, nor have any of the characters "handlers" mentioned to us that they (the characters) would have a problem using the Sharpie.

I am going absolutely nuts here in Ohio. It's freaking cold as could be(single digits as high's) and we had a foot of snow this past weekend and we are expecting several more inches tonight. I cannot wait for 10 more days. I'm hoping the long term forcasts of warm weather will turn out to be accurate. Ohhh I hate winter up here. LOL

I am so excited I can't stand it. Sometimes it seems to go by fast, and other days it's like time is standing still! It's all I can do not to pack everything yet. I still have plenty to do, but I don't care! Thank goodness I will have Monday off to do stuff!

Wow that could be the last time I post "the lists". Well unless we go through 30 pages again before I leave in 6 days, which is totally possible around here! Maybe I'll post them again anyway before I leave just for the fun of it!

It must be a disease, I am Drumline coordinator, yearbook coordinator and band wear coordinator for our band program at the MIddle School. Next year I may be on both the High School and Middle School boards. Oh my! We Band Parents are very committed individuals..................

Yes we are... I am starting to wind down though..... my DD was Drum Major for two years....that was crazy... we traveled to Florida twice..once for the Outback Bowl (they won the right to perform pre-game) and then once for Disney Magic Music Days.... also a couple of trips to Virginia...

My DS is unbelievably talented but only likes to play for fun... much to the dismay of his band directors (he has made All State the last three years)... he is much more involved in sports than band... although he has done field band in the fall and played a fall sport as well... talk about crazy schedule....

HEY BIRDIES! Well guess who is sick now? Yup! That'd be me! I am all for family sharing but I am not happy that my DD decided to share her flu with me! YUCK! I really hate throwing up! NOT FUN! Oh well, I am feeling waaayyy better than last night and I can say thatin 5days I will be in DISNEY WORLD!

Gotta go get better (lie on couch and watch movie) so I wish you all a happy Disney Day!
