And we'll be at DW! This trip was planned pretty much on a whim and since the holidays had taken over, I can't believe it's already so close! I have nothing prepared and need to start shifting gears SOON! We'll be celebrating our 2 dd's b-days there (and we have let them choose where they wanted to eat on each of their day and what parks, shows and attractions they want to see), so they are uber excited to say the least. We are also trying a "new" resort for us... the WL. We always go and visit it seems but just never got to stay there yet, well until this trip! So it should be absolutely fantastic!

Anyway, just wanted to share my excitement. :)

We love to share excitement!! i hope you have a wonderful trip! WL is one we're thinking about for a future trip too! Enjoy!

OMGosh...I'm so excited about how quick all of our trips are coming up!!! Can you guys believe that its January!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTT!!!!!!

I've been frantically obsessing about the trip - Making lists constantly. There is so much I want/have to do!
I'M SO EXCITED!!

I am frantically making lists too! I even have my lists organized on a list! :lmao: Way too much to do! It seems to be a lot more fun now that the kids know! They have been looking at their books deciding on the things they want to do! :cool1:

I am so bringing out the suitcases when we get home! Doing laundry and putting stuff in as it gets clean! One benefit of living where it is currently -20! I can pack warmer weather clothes right now, cause I don't need them right now! :yay:

SOLEIL - hope you and G have a fabulous time! Enjoy each other! Happy Second Honeymoon! :goodvibes

Okay, You've just about convinced me. I just have to find the time! One more ? - When you find a DISign, can you just save it to your computer and edit it? Then print on transfer paper and iron on - right? Thanks!

Yep you can save it by right clicking on it. I have edited some DISigns that I didn't want to bother the DISigners to do and I knew I could do myself. Then print, cut & iron.

I thought it would be time consuming but before I knew it I had made 22 shirts, invatations, pressed penny tubes, travel guide books, nuggets, luggage tags, CM appreciation cards, Epcot passports. I have never done anything like this before....Disney does this to me I guess :goodvibes

I used to tan as well... then this past year I had to have two spots removed - one from my arm and one from my back... they both left large scars that look terrible... the doctor said the tanning bed didn't cause them but definatly sped up the process..... no more tanning beds for us....

One more take on tanning -

Shortly after my 28th birthday and a few months before the birth of my Son, I was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma. I was a "casual" tanner at best, had fair skin, and not a habitual sun worshipper. It didn't matter, as a very well respected Doctor at the Cancer Center I attended said "Overexposure from the sun is never good." To think that using a good sunscreen or covering up better may have prevented this drives me crazy. Who knows? I still may have had the problem regardless, but I could have and should have been more careful. I now have an 8" scar across my collar bone, and a 2" scar under my armpit. I see these girls walking around looking “day glow orange” and I wish they would be a little more careful with the tanning, but who am I to tell them. All I know is that I thought it could never happen to me. I was wrong. I am very lucky though; I can say that I am a proud 31 year old cancer survivor.:thumbsup2

 Afternoon Snowbirds!

Just busy getting things in order here. . . Printing itineraries and packing and so on!!

We are taking the kids to my mom's for a few hours later so DH & I can do a little shopping and go to dinner since we didn't get to for NYE because I still wasn't feeling up to it.

Okay, I updated Katiebugsmom's ADR's. . . I think there were a few others that needed updated but I missed them. . . If anyone else wants updated please list them again and I will get them! :thumbsup2 Thanks!

Ok, I think pretty much everything that I needed to buy I got this morning. Now I'm attempting to make my way through the laundry room, which um looks bad!:lmao: There is a path from door to washer and dryer. That's it..that's only floor you can see! :scared:

I go visit my friend, Mr. Chiropractor at 4:40 today...so he can get me all nice and lined back up for the trip.

I'll go to the bank before Mr. Chiropractor.

I have to finish printing off t-shirt designs.

Tomorrow I will be making the t-shirts. And most likely still be doing laundry.

Oh and I forgot to mention that my aunt/uncle gave us an ADR at Crystal Palace for Tuesday night Jan. 13, for Christmas. They also gave us a $250 gift card to use for that dinner!:woohoo:

Time for lunch. I need to keep my energy levels up. They we weakening just from looking at my list of stuff to do this weekend...

My updated ADRs (in case you missed them)
1/11 - Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Package
1/12 - Planet Hollywood
1/13 - Kona Cafe (B) and Teppan Edo (D)
1/14 - Tony's Town Square (L) and Liberty Tree Tavern (D)
1/15 - Chef Mickey's (B) and Coral Reef (D)
1/16 - Ohana's

7 on the DDP and 2 OOP

I made my mousekeeping and dining tip envelopes last night. Stuffed them too. :woohoo: Can't believe I have only 9 days left!

I have a question for all you WDW experts...

I was looking at the Disney shopping site and want to order some stuff and get it sent to our hotel. How does that work? How soon should I order? What if it gets there before we check in? I am very new to this...because I am from Canada it costs way to much to get things sent here with shipping & duty added in. Any help would be appreciated :)

Had a really nice day yesterday. We had New Year's brunch with some good friends, played mah jongg, and then ran some errands. I was supposed to go to work at 5, and they called and said they weren't opening. I had the evening off! :cool1: No more work until January 13!

Unfortunately, ear is still blocked up - the nasal steroids did nothing. Picked up the Sudafed and I have prescription Motrin from a previous injury, so that's what I'll be trying on the plane.

But I WILL BE ON THE PLANE tomorrow, and probably drive my d crazy with "What?" all the time!! :rotfl2:

I'm so sorry you are sick, but a big WOOHOO for tommorow!!!!!

I hope we run into eachother.:goodvibes

SOLEIL - hope you and G have a fabulous time! Enjoy each other! Happy Second Honeymoon! :goodvibes

Thanks so much! We are so excited! Yes, I am bouncing of the walls today. It seems to be going by SO SLOW!

When you place your order just have the parcel sent to yourself @ CBR! The address is available over on the resort info pages. If it arrives before you, the package will be held until your arrival but now there is a 5 dollar holding fee charged for all packages shipped to a resort! You could probably wait a little while but not too long! I'd say maybe no more than 10 days before your arrival you should order! just a note: I have never actually done this myself, but know that this is what many others have done! HTH :goodvibes

OMG! that's so cool! I'll be happy with a few t-shirts. I would like to do Mousekeeping tip envelopes too. Hmmm...

I'm so glad to hear you are a survivor. I have gotten more and more careful over the years. Like the guy on Hill Street Blues used to say (look it up youngsters!) "Let's be careful out there!"
