We really enjoyed Tusker House!

Us too! Did it in May and loved it, can't wait to do it again in January! Would love to try Crystal Palace, CRT, Ohana and Chef Mickeys, though! When we find something we like we stick with it instead of trying something new we may not LOVE. Not very adventurous, but OH WELL!

I would love some magical mail too! I guess I have to wait until I pay off my package first! I was pretty excited that my Passporters came yesterday, so that's what I've been doing! I LOVE those books!

I want to try so many places to eat and I want to stay at a bunch more resorts, so I think I'll be going to WDW until I'm about 75! I'll have to take my grandkids!
This trip we're trying a new resort and three new restaurants, so I'm feeling good about that. We might try more depending on how busy it is - I just didn't want to make a lot of ADRs and we're not doing dining plan. (at least not at the moment - always subject to change )

Man - I have to figure out what we're even doing for Christmas cards this year. We might do a family picture with all of us in our MN Wild hockey jerseys (sweaters for you hockey-knowledgeable people) and maybe put two pictures on the card - that one (with the dog in his Wild collar) and one from our cruise last year.
Then I have to get the girls to see Santa at the mall. Then I have to get DD5 to get her flu mist (She won't do the shot). Still shopping, haven't wrapped anything, going to bake this weekend. WOW - I should not be sitting around reading! Oh well - it'll all get done eventually.

I don't know why, but that statement made me laugh out loud! I'm picturing it now (probably not at all what it'll look like though!).

Well, how about this picture: When at the grocery store, she would use her cane to get things off the top shelves. She would arrange the cart and just knock the item into the cart. Yeah, really funny when she would try to do it with glass bottles. Needless to say she's not allowed to bring her cane along anymore...

I need y'alls' opinion! What Disney breakfast would be the first on your list?

I LOVE Chef Mickey's! The only other place that we've eaten breakfast at that we are doing again is Tusker House. Both are great!

So I went to the local Outlet Mall tonight with my friend. I had high hopes of finding Christmas presents, however I got nothing. Well not nothing, I got something for my brother to give my mom. I also bought myself a new pair of gloves. I have MAJOR shopping I need to do.

My magical mail arrived yesterday.

Addressed to my DH.



Yeah, my name is in the Magical Express paperwork so everything was fine but COME ON. *I've* done all the organizing. *I've* listed my name first. *I've* paid all the bills. *I* should be getting the danged mail!!

(That said, DH announced "Something from Disney!" and tossed it on the counter for me, and didn't even notice it was addressed to him and NOT me!)

It was 5 weeks exactly as of last night!!!

We also went to a fight and a hockey game (Michigan v. State) broke out. In the end, two players were ejected, there were two players sent off the ice to cool down, and boatloads of penalty minutes (including numerous 5 minute major, rather than the usual 2 minute minor). And that was mostly in the first period!

After the first period, they had a teddy bear toss, where people got to throw teddy bears/stuffed animals on to the ice. They collected 1272 stuffed animals last night. Holy cow! They donate them to the Children's hospital and other charities in town.

I'm with you on this! It happens to me ALL the time! I was at a grocery store with my DD and I was buying her a candy bar. The cashier said "Oh, isn't it nice that you're sister is buying you a candy bar!" I was like, "I'm her mother!" The guy felt really bad and couldn't believe it when I said that I was 26.

Someday your going to miss hearing those words. Before you know it your going to be in your mid 40's and start getting junk mail reminding you that in a few years you can join the AARP.

Just once, I'd like to hear someone say to me, is that your younger sister when I'm with my daughter, or can I see your id when I'm buying a six pack.

Morning everyone! COLD here today but no snow like they're predicting for some of you up north. ICK! I am so over winter already, bring on the warm weather!! 7 weeks until we're at Disney!! I was thinking of starting to pack up some shorts and stuff that we won't need for the next few weeks.

Pretty low keyed weekend planned. Our Wehrenberg Theaters is having a "Can Food Festival" today so I was thinking of taking the boys to see Madagascar 2 (Drew saw Bolt last weekend). I'm a little nervous though because this would be Keatons 1st movie at the theater and I"m not sure how long his attn span will be. Other than that we have NOTHING to do...I love those weekends. (well, other than cleaning, some online shopping, maybe wrapping, etc...but nothing that I have to leave the house for)! That makes me a happy girl!

I forget who was saying how when they were teaching they'd disinfect wipe everything in the room down...I was at school today and DD7's teacher asked the class, do you remember what I want for Christmas? Self control (for the students) and More Clorox Disinfecting wipes!!! LOL. I know what I'm getting her!

This made me laugh and remember this:
One year DD's teacher was pregnant and I bought her the giant half gallon pump action sanitizer they sell at Sam's. She was so happy! It was so funny whenever a child would sneeze she taught all the kids to say "sanitize" instead of "bless you". It worked! Any touching of the nose area was followed by a good ol' dose of sanitizer. She stayed healthy and so did DD.

I love that! Our school sent home a letter that evidently some parents are getting upset about the germy water fountains, so the school is letting us send sport-spout water bottles for the kids so they don't go slobbering all over the water fountains. I think it's a great idea!

I'm a firm believer that being at home can heal you faster! Take it easy and think of yourself, not the 1001 other things that need to be done! Catch up on movies and books and before ya know it Disney will be here!!!

We sort of got magical mail this week! Our luggage tags arrived. Ok so we read through and notice that my father isn't listed. Call them, the guy says well he's here on the computer, so just discard that stuff and you'll get new ones. Next set comes, yay dad's listed....however no luggage tag for him ( I somehow had 3...yeah right like I'm going to have 3 bags now!). The next day we get another set, everyone is listed AND everyone has luggage tags!

It's cold here and it snowed over night. We've got some running to do quick this morning before crowds get horrific around the mall area. Then it will be back here for me to Scrapbook my life away!

32 days from right now (considering the time change) I should be walking into Hollywood Studios where it will be warm and sunny!

Yay! Wendy's home and on the mend!! We missed you and are glad you're doing okay (all things considered!) Take it easy, we'll be here!

I love these weekends where I have nothing scheduled. Of course DH is working all weekend, but I have nowhere to go. Which is nice because we got a couple inches of snow last night. It looks so pretty - but it's cold and WINDY! So I'm going to stay in and bake Christmas cookies, DIS and read my passporters. The oven will help keep the house toasty!
What will the kids do? Well, I'm sure they'll find something to amuse themselves!
My DD7 is also allowed to keep a sport bottle of water at her desk. I have to remind her to bring it home once in a while so I can disinfect that too!

Disney Magic Mail - I would be so bummed if it came to DH and he didn't even care!! I feel for you. Sometimes we get some for my MIL since we did her reservations. Not sure why, they have her address. Oh well. At least he didn't throw it away!!

I got magical mail! ​

So did I! And I'm glad; since we're leaving at the same time, I'd be bummed if you got it and I didn't!

It consisted of a booklet that listed the reservation and had vouchers for everything (including the $200 gift card) except the MYW tickets. Those will be available when we check in. It's so exciting - it's starting to feel real now!
