I guess I'm an idiot, I can't figure out this tshirt thing. I'm normally semi-creative and computer literate, but is there a place where I can find just the image and put my own wording on them??

Another question is regarding quarter holders. Do you all just use the mini-m&m canisters? Do you put the pennies in there, too?

If you don't want to use one of the DISigns then google disney clip art or if you go to Goggle on the top left corner you'll see IMAGES click in that and then type in the character you want, then you can add the text you want in word or any other program you have

As for pressed penny tubes, I use mini M&M tubes and I put two quarters than a penny (over and over) So when we go to use them they are right there in order

We went shopping today and found some great bargains at the Disney Store. DD and I both got long-sleeve tees (mine is pink with Minnie and hers is white with Tink) for $5.99 each. Great bargain. Tried to convince DH that he needed one too, but he could not be convinced (he is really not a character-shirt kind of guy...........).

Also, about the spray-tanning. DD has spray-tanned several times before dance recitals and proms. It usually comes out pretty well and lasts for about 4-5 days and she has never come out orange!!

I'm really missing our Disney store. Those sound like some great deals!

Yay!!! Got DS all packed up and ready to go! I'm so glad that he has so many clothes. He only needs to have some extra socks packed up. His carry-on is good to go, too!

I checked our flights and managed to find some minor changes. No biggie . . . just a change in flight numbers, really.

Tomorrow I get my pre-Disney pedicure and will finish up the laundry and some light cleaning. Sunday will be a day of relaxing before the big trip!

It's almost time now!!

Safe travel to all those heading to the world this week!

I ordered a bunch of stuff the day after Thanksgiving - and got it by the following Tuesday - I didn't even know what it was at first, it came so quickly! So their shipping is wonderful...

About T-shirts, because of the great deals online, I bought Tshirts for the members of my group [4 bucks a pop] then treated myself to a few more shirts [it was only right!] and managed to buy one for every day we'll be there [5 days, 5 shirts]. A couple of days ago, one of the group members was wearing his Mickey Tshirt and pointed that out to me but said, 'this is the only T-shirt I want, I'm not buying any when we get to the parks. That would be crazy to get a shirt for, like, every day we're there, wouldn't it!'

And I said, 'yeah, only a real dork would do something like that!'

and to Carrie along with all of the others who are still sick, GET SOME REST!!!!! Y'all have prepared for so long for this trip that, even if you don't get a lot of the fun last minute T-shirts made, etc., it'll be okay. Please don't put too much on yourself - that'll just make you more sick...which, in turn, will keep you from enjoying yourselves as much.

To all who are going in the next few days- tell Mickey, Minnie and anyone else you see that I said hi! And be careful. And have a wonderfully relaxing and laughter-filled and magical time. We can't wait to hear all the details [or, as was pointed out earlier, some].

You better get started! We are leaving Monday to spend time with family and then on to Disney on Tuesday.

I was able to get some more packing done last night. I got MOST of my stuff into the suitcase, which is a good start for me. I have to gather up all of the adapters for the various "necessary" electronics, which is such a pain in the tush.

6:30 am . . . time to get crackin'!

Happy New Years and great travels to all Snowbirds!

I am going back to work today after 9 wonderful days off.

From reading all these posts, it has reminded me of even more things to do. I finally have DH in packing and cleaning the house mood. There is still much to do but some has to be left to last minute. There is much controlled confusion in our household.

We have had a few set backs, our vehicle required new front brakes and all new tires. The price of safety looks like this . I didn't realize how bad it had gotten but the dealership stated they told DH about these issues back in July. Let's just say I was a bit with DH as I do not appreciate bad surprises this close to vacation time. This has lessened our Disney shopping $$ even more. At least I have no worries about getting down there with all the work that has been done to it. I hope for us and all Snowbirds driving down that it is smooth driving and no problems.

We too decided to take the plunge and order on-line through the Disney store. Being in Canada we didn't want to pay for shipping and duty and sent it to his wonderful Grandparents in southern Florida. Our only worry is, that the site kept changing the address and part of the zip code on us. I am hoping and praying our items will arrive safely. I guess now there are 2 parts to a zip code and it is the second part the site changed from the one we were given. His Grandparents don't think the second part is important. I hope not or someone else will be enjoying our Disney stuff. I have faith it will arrive to the correct place. We should know within the week if it does or not. I like this on-line order tracking system.

I am getting so excited for all of you Snowbirds that are there or going soon. I wish everyone a safe and wonderful trip!

To all Snowbirds that are still here, please keep posting all your ideas. I am going to try to print off some envelopes and maybe some transfers if I can find time. Sometimes through these postings I keep adding to my list of items I have forgotten. Thank you.

Healthy Pixie Dust to all those who are sick! We are finishing up here with colds and am hoping we can manage the next 2weeks and 6 days without getting sick again!

All this talk about packing got me in a mini-panic. We have 2 weeks till we leave and I already sorted all the kids new clothes to pack. I just found our old packing checklist from our June trip to WDW so I will print new one's.

Does anyone suggest any specific ultimate list? I'd just like to make sure I pack the best.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I appreciate the info. I'd thought about getting the kids the mini m&m's for their stockings then thought-no they have too much candy already. Well, I guess they're getting more today when I run out to the gas station!!

Good Morning Snowbirds!!!!

Well talked to Soleil last night and she wanted me to tell you all thank you so much for your warm wishes and wanted me tell you all goodbye. She was way to wound up to DIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I told her I would be happy to spread the message along LOL!!!!!!!!!!!

Well today I absolutely have to get my grades done, but first I'm going to Wally World and getting my hair done LOL

Good morning Snowbirds..... busy day here.... I did manage to get some of the things on my "list" done... the birthday invitations are done, I snagged a bunch of Mickey Heads form Home Depot, the mousekeeping envelopes are done, I even did my tip envelopes for the resturants.....laundry done, now I have to get showered and to the office.. have clients meeting me at 11am...

a couple of things I am not sure that I mentioned before... there are two things we never travel do DIsney without... one is an over the door shoe organizer..... we put it on the bathroom door and stuff the pockets with things like toothbrushes, toothpaste, brushes, make-up, lotion, etc.... it keeps the counters clean and the kids know where their stuff is without the "Mom.. where is my...."..... the other thing is a power strip.... with all the cell phones and camera batteries... its easy to just plug them into one...

I think today I might get the luggage out of the basement so it can air out...
