Good Morning Snowbirds!
I wish everyone a happy and safe Holiday Season. I would also like to wish all Snowbirds that are leaving soon a great vacation!

.
My DH woke me up at 5:30am

to go help him shovel our driveway and to shovel out our vehicle from being stuck on the street. Our nice city workers went down the opposite lane of our street and left 3ft of snow piled up in front of our house.

It is the nice heavy wet snow too. Lucky us! Anyhow 1 and half hours later our driveway is clear and our vehicle is safely in it and not stuck on the street. DH took over an hour to come home and his job is usually only a 15 minute drive home. He was stuck in several places on several streets due to spotty plowing or lack thereof. Anyway he is now safely home.
I am going to try walking to work that usually takes only 15 minutes but in all of this snow I am leaving an hour early just to make certain I make it there. DH and children are staying home, safe and warm. Thank goodness.
It is supposedly going to change to rain, or sleet for the afternoon. I will bring an umbrella and see what type of mess I am going to get into. It may be worth it to try to convince the pharmacist to let me go home early, if not I will call a taxi. Tonight we were to go to my parents only 6 blocks away but if the weather is really bad and the streets not plowed we may skip it. I don't want to, but I am an only child so it isn't as if it cannot be changed as it was only snacks and presents, no big meal to go to waste. Oh how I can't wait to say good bye to this weather.

I would like some of that
""Brilliant Sunshine".
I love those weather reports!
I too like thinking about what I would be doing at Disney in a month. There are many new things that we will be trying so I can't even imagine what it will be like other than great!

I think we are looking forward to the fireworks, our favorite rides and the warmth of the sun on our faces. I think the last one is the one I am looking forward to the most. I know the children are looking forward to meeting all their favorite characters.
It is really close for some of our Snowbirds. Please report back here on all of your experiences. I am looking forward to reading about your adventures.
